    14:00 - Clear totes really are the way to go for smalls. I use these Sterilites as well, and a bonus is that if your stick in the same line, the totes have the same footprint, but are made to stack together. Two of the shallow totes will be exactly the height of one of the full size ones. Uniformity really helps in keeping things tidy. If folks are serious about reselling, never cheap out on your tools, including totes. It's a buy once, cry once sort of thing. I have one $5 red Sterilite tote that last I checked I cycled $40K+ worth of inventory through over the last 12 years. The cost of the container becomes insignificant.

    Spend the money and organize now. He is telling you the truth. It will pile up fast. I use basically the same system and it’s saves so much time and I’m not embarrassed to show my friends my set up because it’s neat and clean and looks like I’m serious about it. I have started and sold a few businesses and everyone of them was built by doing things right from the bottom up. The legendary Coach Nick Saban said one time that you will never be great at anything if you are not good at the basics. Learn what to eat and drink then how to stretch and workout then learn how to block and tackle.

    @XanderBroeffle facts…good stuff. Make sure you have a plan and you measure everything out so you don’t buy shit just to buy shit to make yourself feel productive. Looking productive and being productive is way diff. Over my lifetime I’ve opened 7 businesses and they have all failed because the focus was in the wrong place or because of my ego. This 8th one worked because of discipline, consistency and attention to detail when it comes to the basics which is what actually runs the biz. Hoping the best for you in 2024 and beyond broski. ✌🏼

    Even when you do videos on topics I think I know about I learned something. Thanks for what you're doing! I use sort of a bastardized version of what Chris from daily refinement does. I'm very limited on space so I use bins with a numerical system counting left to right and down my shelves for everything that I sell. Everything goes into a ziplock bag. Unless it's too large. The larger items get prepacked and stored because I don't have much time in the mornings for packing. Can't wait till I can get more space and implement something more like what you're doing.

    lol…not creepy. Helpful in fact. The algorithm likes communities to talk to each other. In any case…I have a big compound with Scarface security. No one gets in here without permission. 😂😂😂 JK As far as what everyone else does, I hate to say it because I’m on here too, but KZreadrs or influencers or whatever you want to call us, can hurt people’s rhythm thinking that you have to do things when you don’t. I’ve always been an odd ball and done my own thing, but I can see how if 99 of 100 people do it the same way you are drawn to do the same. What I recommend is to listen and implement only what makes sense for you. Be true to who you are, what you want to do and what you don’t want to do. Use what is actually useful and discard the rest. The eBay backend has so much info and people still want to do it on their own. That’s just stupid. It’s such a waste of time. Think about it from my perspective…why are you in business? To make money right? Not to fill out bullshit paperwork and feel better about yourself because you have an excel sheet. Now, don’t get me wrong. When you grow, all of that info is necessary, but you’d have to be making hundreds and hundreds of thousand if not millions in sales to make it matter that much, but then again that’s just me. I am a single man operation making six figures and have seasonal employees only and I don't use that. Maybe there's something to it. I was in my office…hence the long response. Hope I brought you to the dark side of only focusing on making money and not typing all day. Is all about the sales. Thx for watching! 🤠🇺🇸✌🏼

    I am very curious, how do you add the shipping amount when an item is sold, with, "plus shipping?" How is the weight calculated? Especially with breakables and over sized items? Is it calculated after it's been packaged then weighed? And then the shipping is added to the invoice? Or, does the customer know in advance of purchasing an item, what the cost of shipping will be? Thank you very much for your time, videos, and consideration if you have time and are willing to help me figure the shipping portion out.

  • @resellutions

    When you're working through your inventory to sell, how often do you need to quickly draw a gun? It's so confusing to me that a normal seeming guy would walk around with a deadly weapon while working at home. I am tempted to write this off as just and American thing but I have watched a lot of YT and never seen this before. It's just so bizarre to me and extremely off-putting. I guess it's meant to be some kind of status or political statement?

  • @resellutions

    @resellutions

    Ай бұрын

    😂😂😂 excellent question. I usually get this question from people living outside the US. Not sure where you are in the world, but here in America we have something called the 2nd amendment which affords us the right to protect ourselves at all times unlike ANY other country in the world. This right shall never be denied or infringed upon in any way. It is written into our constitution for the purpose of always being ready and able to protect ourselves from any threat to include our own government. Moreover, my father taught me to be prepared at all times and never be a victim. Even if I never have to draw it I’m glad that I’m able to if I need it. What if someone decided to break in to my home while I work? If that would happen what should I do? Call the cops and wait minutes until they come and “rescue” me all while someone is going to town on me with a blade, gun or something else? Don’t think so. A man should always be prepared to take care of himself and his family and should not rely on the “authorities” to do so. Carrying this tool allows me to do that better. It only takes seconds to end up in the morgue because of some random piece of trash decided to unalive me. As far as what everyone else does on YT doesn’t affect me one bit. People can do what they want. I choose to carry 99% of the day and feel great about it. It ensures my safety and it also reminds viewers, in the US, that they also have the right to carry and should exercise that right. Also, anything can be a “deadly weapon”. As far as it being off-putting, you can always watch another channel. I never apologize to anyone for being me, especially in this ridiculous cancel culture that seems to be poisoning the mental faculties of sane people. And finally, No…this is not a “status” thing. I don’t care about what other people think about me or what I do. I’m just a normal guy that wants to help others succeed and my advice seems to work well as per comments I get of people having sales increases after watching and implementing what I teach on my channel. I hope that answers your question and since I can’t convey tone in writing, please assume the American national anthem is playing the background and me saying this with American pride and not anger. 🇺🇸🫡 Thx for watching! 🤠🇺🇸✌🏼

    @@resellutions OK, I'll respond despite the fact that this mindset has clearly been ingrained into you from an early age and I doubt you'd even stop and think about it from another perspective. I'm well aware of said constitution. Again, I don't see anyone else on YT brandishing a weapon while clearly in no danger in their own home. The idea that someone will walk in and just attack you is so far fetched. You're more likely to injure yourself or someone around you by accident. Anything can be a dead weapon is a very weak argument. A gun is designed to kill. You're saying a gun isn't any more deadly than anything else might be, yet you're also arguing you carry said gun for protection. Why don't you just holster a banana then? Could be a deadly weapon. 😅 I have no doubt you are giving out decent advice. I think that's why I find it all the more jarring you have your gun on show. For someone who doesn't care what people think, you have a lot to say on this. And there is no way you wearing that gun in that way was not done as a statement because you clearly have strong views on this and relish the opportunity to rant on about your rights. Having the right to do something doesn't mean you have to or even should. Probably wasted my time writing all this as people with beliefs such as yourself don't tend to want to challenge them. I won't be watching, and it's simply for the reason discussed. Guns are "tools" for killing people and the less we see of them the better society is getting. I'm sure, being a proud American doesn't have to be linked so directly to a piece of metal and it's ability to harm others.
