Appropriate reporting is critical whether in highly technical tasks or typical dissemination of information to the public. Dissemination of information to the public requires disaggregation of complex ideas into more understandable concepts. However, it is at this point that we observe poor or inappropriate phrasing of concepts. Consequently, the public, who may not have the technical know-how are misinformed about key issues that affect them.
