I'm always amazed Naude can run long distances, in sand, with a camera in his mouth and not lose it for gasping for breath. The OCN crew never stops, going for a seal here, another there and saving all those they see that need help. Well done to you all and thank you.

Tony was on a roll👏! But these images also make it painfully clear how huge the plastic waste problem is, when you find three entangled seals in such a short time😪.

3 entangled seals in such a short (exhausting for the rescurrs) time -- team OCN is always AMAZING! I chuckled when the guys headed towards the 2nd seal ... I don't think I've seen one sitting up SO straight after being netted. As always, I'm SO glad the OCN team is there to save these precious creatures ... thank you, HEROES!

Three lives saved in such a short amount of time! The team can hardly catch their breath, but there will be time for that AFTER they save as many as they can. Looks like the team might also need to hurry against the incoming fog. Well done team!

I find it surprising when the seal is fighting at first, but as soon as the first line is cut they settle down and let you do what you want too. They know.

Just recently I discovered your channel and boy was I shocked to learn how many sea animals entangle themselves in rubbish. I wince when you show me those gruesome cuts some of those seals have because they grow into them. And those poor creature which got themselves hooked, complete horror. I want to say thank you for your dedication to save as many animals as you can and for all the thoughts, work and money you put into this. The world is a better place because of you. You inspire me and others. Everyone can ask himself/herself, what could I do to help those in need.

"The amount of commercial fishing line abandoned, lost or discarded every year could wrap around the equator 405 times." Yikes!

Your fitness, strength and drive is RIDICULOUS!!! In the UK you see groups of people working out in parks, whatever the weather, usually British Military Fitness Bootcamps....you could start up a Namibian Seal Rescue Fitness Program, to be done on soft sand, trying to avoid the incoming sea, and train up new potential rescuers before taking them out to The Skeleton Coast!!! You are all AMAZING 🤩🙏🏻🫶🦭

I watch your videos every time they come up on my phone. I must say I hold my breath while you are cutting them free and then I breathe again when those babies get to return to the ocean. Definitely an adrenaline rush.

Mama was so angry at first, but all she wanted to do was get away once you cut the line. No grudges held. I think there must be a special kind of heaven for animals harmed by humans. Thank you for dedicating your lives to them! 💙🖤🤍
