It almost seems like the kittens were left there for you to find. In short time you turned them from scared kittens to kittens who know they can be happy because they know they are safe! We can all only guess the story behind their being abandoned. The girl that left them in the box may have been trying to save them from certain death by a harsh parent who ordered them to be out of the house immediately and was preparing to tie them up in a plastic bag and throw them into a trash can.

If Abdou hadn't rescued them, they would have died. It happens all over the world and in my country. People discard unwanted animals without any feeling. 😢
