RERA-Act, 2016. यह भारत की संसद का एक कार्य है जो घर-खरीदारों की रक्षा करने के साथ-साथ रियल एस्टेट उद्योग में निवेश को बढ़ावा देने में मदद करता है। तो RERA अधिनियम 2016 के अनुसार, RERA पंजीकृत एजेंटों के पास रियल एस्टेट क्षेत्र से निपटने का अधिकार है। वे कानूनी रूप से अचल संपत्ति की बिक्री और खरीद की प्रक्रिया में लिप्त हो सकते हैं जो अधिनियम की धारा 3 के तहत पंजीकृत हैं।

• संपत्ति की नीलामी या एक्सचेंज का प्रबंधन करें
• उपलब्ध संपत्तियों की लिस्टिंग बनाए रखें और अपडेट करें
• विज्ञापनों, खुले घरों और लिस्टिंग सेवाओं के माध्यम से बिक्री को बढ़ावा देना
• किसी भी लाइन व्यापार प्रथाओं में खुद को शामिल न करें
• किसी अचल संपत्ति परियोजना या इसके कुछ हिस्से में किसी भी भूखंड, मचान या इमारत के सौदे या अधिग्रहण को प्रोत्साहित नहीं करना, किसी भी नियोजित क्षेत्र में प्रमोटर द्वारा बेचा जा रहा है, जो प्राधिकरण पंजीकरण के तहत कवर नहीं करता है।

Validity for Registration
एजेंटों के लिए RERA पंजीकरण शुल्क की राशि के आधार पर एक वर्ष या उससे अधिक समय के लिए वैध रहता है। एजेंट अपनी अवधि के अंत में अपना पंजीकरण नवीनीकृत कर सकते हैं।
किसी भी गलत बयानी के मामले में, धोखाधड़ी या उल्लंघन प्राधिकरण के पास किसी भी समय एजेंट के पंजीकरण को रद्द करने का अधिकार है।
#Penalty
रियल एस्टेट एजेंटों को भी दंडित किया जाएगा यदि वे खरीदारों के लिए परियोजना के बारे में किसी भी जानकारी का झूठा प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। जुर्माना प्रति दिन 10,000 रुपये तक और परियोजना की कुल लागत का अधिकतम 5% होगा। रियल एस्टेट एजेंट को उन परियोजनाओं के खातों की पुस्तकों को रखने की भी आवश्यकता होती है, जिनके लिए वे लिप्त हैं और उनके लिए जवाबदेह हैं।
