Yo puedo apreciar la belleza de la danza y de la música. En cambio, la letra de la canción me parece un poco enigmática y no le veo mucha conexión con el vídeo...

It's definitely not ballet, it's rhythmic gymnastic and it is a WOMAN's sport. It's absolutely ridiculous watching a man practicing RG. It feels a a joke to everything I've loved and done as a gymnast. I'm furious about this video.

Cécilia Ouriachi I have as well been a gymnast, for around 7 years of my life and I feel extatic about this video. It feels good to extend the limits to what rhythmic gymnastics were to my younger gymnast self. In fact I remember only one boy who was competing against me once when I was a kid and I remember I felt very happy back then even though I still had a strong sense of society’s standards. It’s a very silly thing to be furious about, especially when the gymnast in the video looks so passionate and is so talented.
Gymnastique rythmique, les Douze Colonnes, tout ça parle à mon coeur. C'est chouette.
Génial ! Ça me fait énormément penser à Xavier Dolan, surtout les plans sur les spectateurs. En particulier à Laurence Anyways et au clip College Boy d'Indochine (réalisé par X.Dolan) : le début notamment avec cette ambiance sonore de chuchotements, le stylo qui tourne dans la main, et les regards.

Au contraire, je trouve que dans certains aspects ça s'en éloigne beaucoup. l'alternance entre la représentation et la répétition, par exemple, ça ne lui ressemble pas du tout. Et puis, d'un côté, oui, les plans sur les regards peuvent faire penser à Dolan, mais il met rarement autant de personnages dans ses réalisations, je trouve ! En revanche, les plans du début, où on voit les artistes se préparer, dans une certaine délicatesse ça évoque carrément son style je suis d'accord !

Je crois qu'il y assez de filles dans ce sport pour qu'ils en mettent une vraiment douée. Pourquoi avoir mis un homme ? C'est ridicule je me sens insultée en tant qu'ancienne gymnaste.

@@lalaamazi4873 Le fait que ce soit un homme permet de briser les stéréotypes sur les hommes qui font des "sport de femmes". De plus, cet homme est "noir" et est représenté sous 2 formes (en tenue de danse et dans la rue) ce qui permet de capter encore plus le spectateur. Donc je pense que ce choix est plutôt sémantique que juste par choix de beauté 😀
