Gotta say these up coming videos are gonna be fun to watch. The Blue Team seems interesting, never knew they helped out during strikes. I only knew they helped out after hurricanes and tornadoes.

I work for republic. All you have to do to qualify for blue crew is be accident free for 2 years. You still work from your home site 99% of the time too. Not as cool as it sounds unfortunately

Well that is definitely some of the heaviest contamination I've ever seen. All recycle trash and yard waste together is very hard to sort. Why were they taking all 3 carts that day?

Blue Crew is something you qualify for as a driver for Republic Services after being accident free for two years. Once you sign up for it and are accepted, not a whole lot changes. There is just a chance you could travel to a different site in a different state to help if another location requests help in times of short staffing, for however long and it’s all expenses paid and you make decent money while you’re there. Airfare, Hotel, rental car, food allowance and a little extra money added to your checks till you come back home.

some are slow some are fast not a bad truck i hate that the packer keeps running the whole time its a bitch to clean behind the packer and they are all joystick no paddle buttons like RR or bridgeport bridgeports arent that great either scorpian is best labries are decent along with curbtender but dont pack all the into the body but what do i know anybody like gomez or autocar or pete thats all burrtec has by me and bridgeports got 2 new bridgeports and nobody wants to use them lol now they are since we got 4 trucks down still

@@staintedcards I love running the ZR myself. I hate AmReps and Bridgeport’s. Never ran a Scorpion. LaBrie and New Way are cool. CurbTenders are good too

Basically, the Teamsters local union 542 (Google it) and Republic workers stopped working until the company was able to give them what they wanted. some those arms are fast others are slower think they make it slower so it doesnt wreck the bins there is a way to make the arm faster i was told something about turning the pressure up or down on the arm or PTO i seen it on discovery channel had an old show about how the trucks are made now and back in the old days actually had Laidlaw trucks they showed from the 80's 90's cant remember the name of the show showed proper ways to step outta the cab if only they had the answers to the CDL test it changes everytime i take it last 5 years ive tried to pass i must be stupid its the air brakes part that trips me up they asked if your going down hill at 40 or 50 and the brakes fail what do you do? i wrote kiss your ass goodbye lol hang on for the ride of your life make sure you have clean underwear on

nice video, Why cant they just speed up all the trucks.

It would be nice if they put the trash bins back where they found them instead of leaving them halfway in the middle of the street

chula vista needs to fire old company, employees and union and hire a new trash company ..
