Dr. Parker's priority is the well-being of his patients, as he believes that denying them access to necessary care would have worse consequences than any repercussions he may face. Dr. Parker's actions demonstrate compassion and a commitment to medical beneficence. I also appreciate his belief in gender equality, as he recognizes that all individuals, regardless of gender, have a right to reproductive healthcare. This aligns with the principle of justice in medical ethics, ensuring equal access to healthcare for all. It is refreshing to hear such a statement from a religious healthcare provider, as many allow their personal beliefs to interfere with their obligation to prioritize their patients' best interests.

This interesting to see because this man says it ok to have an abortion according to a painting he saw. This painting has nothing to do with abortion; it is more about sinning no further. It is about Jesus being tried by priests trying to trap him with scripture. Jesus shows these men that we should not judge, and I agree with that. But, he also acknowledges that we should not sin anymore. So, we should not say it is okay to have an abortion because no one has the right to judge us. We should stop having abortions because it is not okay. The task of taking a child's life is a sin, and using that same painting we should sin no further.

I am glad Dr. Parker provides abortions to women. He is protecting my abortion rights. It is good that he was a abortion provider for more than 20 years. But sometimes women don't always feel comfortable with male abortion providers touching them. This depends on how women feel about male healthcare providers touching them. Keep up the excellent work Dr. Parker.

@@antediluvianatheist5262 It is your legal right. There are many things however in history that were once legal but unjust and immoral. Humanity depends on mankind evolving as a species and that includes a common morality. I have no reason to believe you are not good moral person and I trust you believe that any action, especially one as profound as exterminating a potential human life, should have a sound moral justification. An example is violence. I believe violence without cause is immoral. If I simply shoot someone in the head that is morally wrong. If that person had just kicked in my door and came charging at my wife and children with a knife then there would be a moral justification to shooting that person in the head. Any such action such as abortion should have a moral justification, right? The complication with justifying abortion I think is that the only bench mark we have are those who have already been born. We all pretty much agree that unnecessarily taking someone's life is wrong. The question of abortion is does the unborn have the same right to life as those who are already born and if not why? A specific example to your last statement would then be; why is it a mother's right decide to terminate the life of their unborn child, if it is morally wrong and unjust for her to decide to terminate the life of a child that is already born?

@@ianalan4367 it is reproductive rights because it involves a woman's reproduction system, obviously. yes. abortion is a horrible act that nobody likes at all. there is no joy that abortion brings to any normal human being, esp for the mother. but you have to consider that people do not dilly dally with things like abortion that is also life threatening to the mother as well. there is a necessity to taking the child's life, and that is a personal reason that the mother makes. no mother wakes up one day and decides to have an abortion. violence is not necessary unless it is in the defense of the subject, in this case the mother. the fetus is using the mother to survive, and the mother is practically sacrificing her body to nourish this baby. the baby is not randomly living in the mother, it is using the mother's body to grow itself inside of her until birth. because it is the woman's body that is being threatened, she has the right to abortion. the mother's financial situation is also something you need to take into account, because babies cost a lot and sending them to adoption/foster homes is an even worse punishment towards the baby, because the foster system is so screwed up and overcrowded with hundreds of thousands of unwanted children, we do not need any more. there is no right to killing born lives because they do not need to use another living life to keep themselves alive, and that is the difference between human beings and fetuses. that does not justify killing it, bc the justification and reason lies with the mother. there are many cases where the pregnancy is life threatening and the mother must get an abortion or she will die (700 women die every year in the us due to pregnancy). and even then, if she is willing to risk all of that, that is her choice 100% and it shall not be denied. but if she believes abortion is the right choice, than that is also her choice 100% and shall not be denied. where it draws the line is during the baby's birth and anytime in its life afterwards.
