Still have an original, my grandpa brought home from war

Quist never made 66 size M42 helmets. Only in 64. They continued to produce m40 helmets right up to the end of the war. Only one production line produce m42. And again.. 64 cm only. I would like to see your original shell lot number and producer stamp. Like, Et or ckl. SE or hkp. Ef and Ns. If your shell is 66 , than its defenatly not a quist.

My mistake, I don't know why I call it a Quist in my videos. Its a CKL 66.

Just a question, what is "bondo" ? Otherwise, many thanks for your informative video.

Hola amigo,tengo un m42 tambien de excavacion,y quisiera ver si me puedes decir como frenar que se siga oxidando,ya que se caen de vez en cuando cascarillas,como pequeñas escamas.. lei en algun sitio que quitarle con un cepillo el oxido lo mas posible y despues darle con aceite wd40 creo que se llama. muchas gracias y saludos

It's American for filler. In this case It would probably be a high build paint filler.

My grandpa have been work for the electric company he have the same helmet with two thunders at the brand.I wear it every day at the streets with pride. 😅😂🤣
