looks good :) i would think the M43 uniform is the best for late-war.. remember the M44 was only accepted as a new pattern and sent to mass-production in november of 44.. so, Ardennes and henceforth it is very correct… gasmask straps are NOT original, well known post-war, got em myself :) you could possible find original used buttons on the internet ? those buttons stand out together with the nice wear to uniforms... and just for a touch, perhaps use an Italien messkit ? these was issued in numbers late-war, painted Field-green :) the blueish buckle is the late-war color, keep it.. no fan or arty-Rucksack, but thats just me… short boots ofc, and I love the idea of a mid-44 transfer fra KM ! super nice :)

Your leather kit seems to need a lot of leather fat to prevent more cracking

What is the correct combination messkit ? East german lower and the m34 police model top ?

As long as the top has not got the extra 1/4 inch (Ends at about the belt loop), no hole for the nipple on the tongue at the bottom of the lid, loops not bolts for the handle and no nipple at the bottom - Then it's good. Not sure what combination to use.

May i ask how did you make your tunics look like they barely have any wool? Is it that you shaved them with a razor?

Bruh, I would strongly suggest not using anything original. It’s extremely stupid to ruin originals just to be the most correct.
