😮This is Genius!! I've got a bunch of bare rooted Cacti on the way from Etsy...so glad I saw this ahead of time!🌵

God I hate this “hack”. You’re supposed to be taking off the old soil when you repot. Most plants are sold in the absolute worst soil available and usually in a soil that doesn’t work well with the plant itself. Just use cactus gloves or cooking tongs. So easy and you have a healthy plant at the end.

I do this with all my plants now. Makes it so much easier and quicker. Less traumatic for the plant too. 😊

I suggest you should buy thicker gloves, because the gloves like the ones I used in the video are not enough to protect your hands from cactus spines.🤣🥲

I’m surprised you would post this. Isn’t it common knowledge that repotting a plant without loosening the root ball will cause it to die? The roots will keep growing in a ball and won’t integrate into the new soil.
