For me it's just my ADHD 😂
I personally love hearing Cadence’s tippy tappies in the background 🐾
Not you middle naming yourself in frustration with the sticker 😂
When I heard about Cadence i truly empathized. I recently had to say goodbye to my childhood dog Mia she was 14 years old also had dementia was blind and deaf and her dementia didn't really progress too much up until the last few months of having her but I remember her having some really bad days and some okay days. It's emotionally draining to see them go through that but being there for them and making them feel as comfortable as possible is the best you can do. Just know you're doing the best you can with a hard situation💕

Ohh I am so sorry for your loss 🥺❤️🩹 thank you very much for your kind words x
If you’re an OG Fern fan you know who her boyfriend is because of his dog that she’s lived with on and off for years now lol glad you’re not sharing that anymore tho, probably for the best
Love these chatty videos! You're my favorite KZread-er. The dog noises never bother me either. They're homey ❤
Hi hun outside gardening its all about enjoyment n excitement dont b scared u will do mistakes now n in 5 years from now or 10... for as long as u plant u will do mistakes some u learn from, others u won't. Just enjoy it n every little or big produce u get from yr garden its a win. Embrace it. Xx
Can't wait for the Hoya repot! 🤩 Would love to have the jewelry lore question answered 😁😁😁
Crocheting does seem like a winter thing... it will come back to you .😉
1:07:24 I feel like callousing depends on the plant. For example, when I have a thick stemmed monstera or philodendron cutting with NO aerials I’ll let it callous. But if it HAS aerials and/or thinner stem, I just pop it in water to avoid root rot. Sometimes you get a little mush at the bottom or dead roots and when I do, I just cut it back.
Thank you for answering my question (about callus before putting cuttings into water). 🤗 I'll also put them straight into water from now on. 😊

yesssss long videos from you are such a treat 🥰 happy monday!!!
I love all your chat and repot videos!!! ❤ May you continue producing more in the future!!! Your Anthurium - Luxurians is amazing. Now with a repot it can continue to grow even bigger!!!! The variegated Silver Sword wish plant looks amazing. I'm sure in time it will become more affordable.
Love these chatty repots! So neat to just get a glimpse into things you're thinking. I think its great that you're going to keep gardening kind of to yourself to enjoy and not stress about! I hope you love it 💚🌱🌿
Thank you for the nice long video! I watch everything but I love long videos the most! 🥰 I love having these types of videos to watch & chill before bed ❤
could you do a focus on your akbar little greenhouse?
I’m so glad your babies rooted nicely for you Fern 💗 Don’t worry, the Manipurensis roots quickly 😂 Thank you for the shout and I’m obsessed with your big and beautiful Anthuriums 😍

Yay! I just sat down to repot some plants too so perfect timing!
Omg those Hoya blooms are so fuzzy looking on that wish list plants.
Yay! So excited to watch and listen while doing my evening chores! ❤️🙌🏻
My partner & I also just bought our first house and i agree with all of your points. I love ot and feel so much happier and more secure, like i finally, truly have a place to call "ours" and live our lives the way we want. But yeah, it's soooo expensive trying to decorate it or fill it with furniture, and there are a lot of maintenance issues like outlets not working, plumbing issues/flooding, is our water heater about to break?, are our old, very outdated pipes going to burst? Issues that could cost 10's of thousands to repair. And owning a home in general is much more expensive of course (rent for our 2br apartment was $1,600 but with all the fees associated with our mortgage, we are paying $3k a month for the house alone). At least our money is going into owning something that will build equity and that can be paid off, and not just going down the drain like with renting.
I love all of your videos but you Q & A repots are my fav - thank you!
Spring time always makes one want to repot and plant in the ground.
I’m building my book list for the summer. Thank you for the suggestions! Also that lux hybrid is probably my favorite plant in your collection 😍😌
Ahhh I have The Only One Left arriving in the mail today!! Can’t wait 💕
I agree with the use of humidifiers, I quit using after a year and a half. I got mold behind things that were against outside walls. No mold since.
My dog, Molly, really enjoys your potting videos 😉
We do import group orders from Aleya plants in Edmonton. They have the Hastatum Domesticum Variegated for just $10US after conversion and shipping its about $25/30. I’ve seen a couple pictures of a recent one someone bought and it was beautiful.
Have my cozy beverage and ready to relax with Fern
Yes wrap up the last of the questions in your Hoya repot.
I just love your videos like this! Thanks for sharing your experiences and knowledge! You're the best Fern!

That matcha looks so yum
Thank you Fern for this video. Love everything in it but especially the book’s list. I am a sucker for thriller and they all made my list. Thank you
Just in time I just up one of the strawberry begonia plant. I probably need to repot it since it’s in peat moss.
Loved your chat! 💚
As a newbie planty creator, I love editing my own videos! That is one of the things I like about the Hobby. Your Strawberry Begonia’s are so cute!
I love the repot videos
My pup Ollie loves your videos Fern 😂🐾🌿 your calming voice, puts him right to sleep. 😅 I enjoy them too..but unlike Ollie, I stay awake way too long, into the midnight hour🤘🏼💖☀️
Had a vlast watching this ☺️ It’s fascinating how big your anthurium lux hybrids are. I definitely feel like you got some really strong seeds back then because as I grow plants from seeds myself I realise how often I actually got a runt 🧐 (e.g. three of five seedlings are really struggling and then two are doing well). It’s great seeing your journey with it 🌱🌱
Really enjoyed this vid. Thanks for sharing Fern!

You wear the best plant T-shirts!!🤗🤗🤗🤗 I think a next step would be selling plant merch instead of plants themselves. Update.... I saw your video where you linked the shirts sooooooo nvm .🤣😂😂🤣🤣

Hahah. Honestly I would be more keen to sell something like cool merch! Maybe in the future 😊
I usually don’t quarantine either. Sometimes I wash the leaves and inspect before placing my plants 🤷♀️😀🇨🇦
That’s a great idea of the heirloom plant. It’s so unusual.
That variegated silver sword picture was stunning. I can see why you like it.
Strawberry begonias are cute. I was lucky to be able to keep my babies untangled.
My isolation place has become a nursery. Lol. I spray them down and put them in my room. That’s my quarantine spot.
That luxury hybrid is stunning 🤩 😮😊
I hope you bring your merch back 💕☺️
Your editing is great!! 😍 Lol, strictly a workload question 😉
The links to Gemma’s and Harli’s channel aren’t working, but luckily they are easy to find.
I have a cheap pot suggestion! I recently went to my local restaurant supply store and bought some clear deli to go cups and melted my own holes in them. I got a 50 count sleeve for 12 dollars (us)!! They come in all different sizes and I like the sizes more than traditional nursery pots. Hope this is helpful 😊

Of course you can also get them online but I wanted to see the sizes in person and feel them.

I root rotted my same plant. It’s in fluval now.

Came here to recommend the thriller author Mark Edwards! Especially the audiobooks (usually Kindle unlimited) because English accents 👌 Also love your content and vibes, Fern!! I'm now a Molly's and Mooncat girlie because of you lol
I like hearing about your gardening. Maybe just updates. Things go wrong that’s ok. So on the cozy lady channel is ok.
You work super, super hard. Don't believe otherwise.
Your mamei!!!! 😍
I love these chatty videos. I potted up 3 leaf propagations of African Violets while I watched your video 😊
what do you do to prevent root rot? And when it happens, how do you stop it? Cause even when I cut all the rotted rots off, the rest of the plant will eventually die 🌿
I’ve been thinking of trying pin but I have no clear glass vessels or self watering pots.
I missed asking a question 😫 but I’m really curious if you’d do more collaborations with other plant KZreadrs whether that’s in person or doing live videos?
Melissa has to try something. She has an interesting attitude towards sponsorships. Ha! I also need somewhere to move my babies and props. I'm getting a grow tent this summer, but it does worry me that they won't be all in front of me all of the time.
Would you be able to talk a small bit about Cadence’s diagnosis!?! What symptoms was she showing that triggered a vet visit or how was she diagnosed with dementia? & how long has she had the diagnosis? I think my last follow up question is what steps or care advice did your vet give you for caring for her with said diagnosis? All love behind my questions!!!🫶🏼 ..My sister was given her dementia diagnosis in 2019 when she was 37 so i am just curious… 🥰
Book recommendation!! House of salt and sorrows. It’s creepy and sooo goood. There are two books in the series
The feitchii looks beautiful
What does Matcha taste like? I know, I've never tried it 😆
I had a big full strawberry begonia and she slowly died away down to four leaves. I have no idea 🤷🏼♀️ I treated her today for any unseen pests. I do use a microscope and don’t see a thing 🤷🏼♀️ One of those things I guess. I love question and answer videos. 😊 Thanks for sharing your life with us.

You can reach out to a portable greenhouse company for a sponsorship if you want one. I know Sydney plant guy got his from a sponsor and loves it and has moved it to a different apartment already.
Where do you buy the clear pot

My strawberry begonia was the same way. When I went from 3-4 inch pot my strawberry begonia went nuts. It grew so fast and I had to soon put it in a 6 inch pot. The strings are so long and the babies are getting huge. I don’t know what to do with them.
Your strawberry begonia is beautiful! Mine is not too happy. Any tips??
Oh I think that 2020 was the peak of plants with all the people needing something to do during the pandemic.
Your cup looks like a beaker for a science classroom. Lol 😂
I’ve found 9 inch pots on amazon
Feeerrrrn you should reach out to the people that Sydney Plant Guy got his greenhouse from! I'm not sure if they sell in Canada but worth a shot. Or maybe a local Canadian greenhouse brand would sponsor you?? There's loads of aluminium frame polycarbonate greenhouses around so they'd be easy to take down and move when you needed to.
Where do you get your plant t shirts I’ve been trynna find all of them especially the anthurium ones lol

hey Fern, is a strawberry begonia the same plant as a saxifraga stolonifera tricolor? Mine grows very slow. How much light and water do you recommend?
@wildfern

Yep it so! Mine is super close to a grow light and she’s a thirsty gal :)
So I have that same plant that you have that you ripped the roots off of, and I under watered it… all the leaves fell off.. do you think it will come back?! 😂
@wildfern

Oh dear!! It definitely could :) as long as the roots are healthy. I’d pop it in a ziploc bag or humidity bin to give it the best chances.
Hey works. Over the shoulder is fine
Thank you for the Thriller reccomends....I only like to read thrillers. I have been wanting to get back into reading but every book I have tried doesn't hold my attention enough to keep me interested so I just fall off.
Where can I find your Community tab. Probably a dumb question but I am not Tech savvy?
How do I get to your vlog?
💚
We have the variegated silver sword where I am! Definitely less than $600 😂If you ever want me to grab one and ship it to you, let me know! ❤
I'm not sure if you've ever read any of Stephen King's books, but I highly recommend Mr. Mercedes by him!
