I have a hooge fishtail fern. It was in a massive terracotta pot but I put it in the front garden and its way too big to ever think of having it inside. Just glorious!!!!

Perfect timing! I'm right there with you. Daunted by the prospect of pulling the plants and their circular moss poles out/apart to repot though. Making funky shapes out of the moss poles seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I see my blunder.

I use the pothos soil for most of my plants. I think it’s better than the philodendron and other soils they have for specific plants. The turface in there holds lots of water and nutrients and gives to plant when needed. The stalite stops compaction of the soil. Excellent soil

I'm slowly moving my plants from terra cotta to basalt (light, medium and dark) due to the rest of the decor in my house. I hide the waiting plants in glazed pots all the time! Procrastinating repotting my monstera adansonii into a bigger pot with a trellis. You've motivated me. Thanks!

Always love a good report video. My Hoya Latifolia is going NUTS so I repotted it and have it on a pole now. Unlike my mother I am so proud when one of my kids graduates to the pole....

Ill exotics has some fishtail palms if you are looking for some. Make a right when you walk in and they are right there.

Hello. I went through the comments to see if someone asked. Why did you plant the Hoya in SM. What makes you choose soil or another substrate. I would have though terracotta and SM would dry out very quickly

it was propagated originally in sphagnum and was delivered that way, so I just decided to keep it in sphagnum for now instead of messing with & untangling the roots

Bro are you color blind?? That planter is not red it’s purple (indigo to be specific)! And your pot is tinted more green than the other one they are not the same. 😅 I love you either way
