  • @Skogebear
    @SkogebearАй бұрын

    Edelmans podcast brings the players opinions in and they seem to respect and like bill despite his surface level persona. He isnt an offensive guru and needed brady but he was a defensive one. Its far too simple to chalk up that success as a one man job. TB got lucky agaisnt the raiders back in the snow game and was bailed out his first three super bowls on the leg of Vinatieri. The defense was vicious and to pretend that tom brady was the reason they won those games means you need to go back and watch those games again. I think we can argue that brady lost both the games against the giants, o line or not. Mostly not lol. The eagles super bowl, brady was possibly the only one who did show up. Brady was the epitome of work ethic and focus. Not many like him but like mahomes they have an ounce more luck than the average person and that much is the edge. Don shula is considered one of the best coaches ever. He had a few losing seasons, and won far fewer super bowls. We dont watch the coaches we watch the players. Its tough to judge them unless they do some dan quinn type mistakes(im a falcons fan). On that note i dont blame arthur blank for picking the cheaper more tame coach because bill just wants to pass shulas wins and then retire but raheem morris is a scramble because you missed out on all the others type of decision.

    I mean we are talking about a Billionaire with a Billionaires’ fragile ego. With how the free agent market opened up, no viable QB, and absolutely no OL, or WR, I’m starting to suspect what I’ve been suspecting for awhile now. Kraft is cheap, but I think that’s how one becomes a billionaire and keeps being a billionaire.

    If true then that may explain why Bill didnt land a coaching gig. Robert could have made some calls to his fellow owners to advice them what he told Arthur Blank.

    While belichick is far from blameless for the past couple years Kraft is destroying his legacy thanks to his mouth and the documentary which he produced now Kraft is going to be remembered like Jerry jones and Jerry Krause only won cause of a hall of fame coach and hall of fame quarterback I hope it was worth it robert you just tanked your legacy and you did this to yourself

    The commonality in all this drama is Wickersham. Don't forget that when Wick wrote a book about the Patriots dynasty, Belichick wanted nothing to do with it, and therefore, may be a giid reason for his bias towards Kraft. That's my take. I wouldn't be surprised if any of this is true. Only time will tell.

    tom and bill do and always did have tremendous respect for each other, but it's simply not true to say that all the drama was not real. it was very real. bill did try to trade him and roll with jimmy g, and kraft stopped him. and that definitely did create some tension between the 2 for the rest of tom's time there.
