Me and one of my best mates got the chance to visit James in Banff and have a morning out on Replenish hauling some of his creels. It was a great morning on the Buchan coast going along the shore past MacDuff to his fishing spots.
Replenish is an all Aluminium construction inboard diesel powered commercial fishing vessel.
LOA is 6.99m and 3.0m beam With approximately 0.9m draft. Built to MGN628 standard under survey by SCMS & MCA for the UK fleet.
She is powered by a 6 cylinder Solé SM-103 de rated to 50hp. Coupled to a Technodrive TM-93A hydraulic box with trolling valve and 8 degree down angle.
Performance is displacement with a weight of over 4 tons she will push to 9.5 knots but is happy cruising at 7.5-8.
The hull and wheelhouse are made from 6mm and 8mm 5083 plate with 15mm plate for engine beds and a 12mm box keel base.

Thanks Jim. I have some pictures and video of her out on a rough day i will try and collect more and put together. James spent his whole life at sea, his dad had pelagic trawlers in the 70-80s and he had his own large prawn trawler for years so he knows a bit about boats and he is very complimentary of replenish handling.
