I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed my Christmas Box. I am 83 years old and I felt like a child every morning in anticipation of the day’s surprise. I use the cup every day for my cold water and it works great. The clock hangs on the sewing room wall, in front of my machine, next to a window. I think that this is my favorite item, but, I like it all. Thank you.
Jenny your sewing machine sounds like a Freight Train!! LOL Always love your tutorials with Misty💕
What a cozy, fun studio! Beautiful light from those windows behind you. How fun, Jenny!
Made one this morning! It is perfect for my grandnephew’s girlfriend and added a gift card, pocket tissue holder and a pretty lip balm.
There were TWO zippers? I had to go back and look! What a fun project! Thank you! I am looking forward to making TWO of these!!!!
Keenan is a keeper. Chaos? That's a perfect description of my jewelry making space. I try to keep the quilting fabrics and projects organized against the cats' needs for comfy spots.
Hi from the UK. Was so excited at breakfast this morning to open the first thing in my very own first grown up advent calendar. can't wait for tomorrow.
I think you girls need to teach Keenan something.... he would be so fun to have on camera. His comments really crack me up! Love this pouch pattern! So cute and easy!!
I started watching this tutorial before I opened my #1 bag, so I stopped watching until I opened the present. Excellent start on the box❣️. I have lots of fabric I can use in my stash, so I will be making this soon. Thank you Jenny and Misty.
Thanks to both of you for your loving family.
I’ve made so many zipper pouches over the years. This truly is the friendliest way and especially for beginners. Thank you!
I love making these. I put pockets on, I appliqué, I quilt, bead, you name it. I make the lining fabric a couple of inches longer than the main fabric, then when I turn it there’s a cute little inset of contrast fabric where the zipper goes. I saw that method somewhere, I do wish I could remember so I could give them credit. Thanks for all the great videos, Jenny. I learn so much from you, both as a beginner quilter and now that I’m more experienced.
When I opened gift 1 I noticed right away they are decorative zippers and I love them! Thank you so much for the tutorial, always enjoy learning something new from Jenny.....and I too am a messy creator with piles around me, I call it my organized chaos!
Today is the 1st !! I had to sit and look at my box for over a week wanting to open it sooooo bad ! Cute cute zippers, Jenny. I see a "hard to shop for" gift for one of my DILs fill with lip gloss and body spray.. I also create in chaos - its the only way. Jenny you're the sister in my head. Can't wait until tomorrow!
I bought a pack of these zippers, then couldn't find this video. I accidentally come across the video today and glad I found it. Jenny you are my hero 💗💗💗.
Jenny, I just made my first pouch this afternoon!! I had ordered the zippers after seeing this tutorial! I am amazed at how EASY the pouch was to make. I made two pouches within one hour!! And I am a beginner sewer. Only started quilting about 1.5 years ago!! Will be making more of these for gifts for sure! Thank you for the tutorials! You have helped me so much!!
Oh my goodness! This is already so much fun! I can't believe how cute this zipper is. 😍

Zipper pouches are one of my favorite projects, and those zippers are so cute! I love this project and I'll have to give it a go. Thank you as always for such great project tutorials.
Cameraman comments in the background are great! You are all great!
Love having Keenan doing your videos, I am a LMA so you need to keep him busy, maybe someone will PAY him!!!!!! LOL Great job love the zippers they are co darn cute.
Love ❤️ the zipper pouch. Thanks Jenny and Misty and camera guy. 😀😀😀
Just opened my 1st day of Jenny's Countdown to Xmas and watching this video is great. Two great gifts to give.
You could use the leftover zipper tar for a handle that matches. How cute!!!
I would have NEVER purchased a zipper in my almost 7mos of mask making & quilting. When I saw Day1, I thought "what?" But with this great tutorial... I'm going to try making a zipper bag. Thank You Jenny, Misty, MSQC... and especially Josh. 🤩
I would love these zippers in a shorter size too.
I’m a messy creator too. When I’m done for the day I make myself clean up so I can start a new mess the next day. 😀

Great to see you Misty, I was worried about you. Thanks both for the fab tutorial. Take great care all at MSQC x
Hi Jenny mam I am from India I have seen all your videos. U r my inspiration. I can understand easily thank you very much ❤️ mam.please reply.
So excited when I opened day 1... I wanted to try out these zippers when you first showed them... now I can!
Great Job Misty & Jenny!.....Another small gift to make for those that you want to give something but don't want to spend a lot of time or money!
I love how easy you make this! I'm traveling overseas this summer with my sister, and wanting something easy to have on our long flights, I bought inexpensive daypacks and added a lining with a great side pocket on one side, and a pen/pencil holder on the other, and they will be our bag to keep by our feet. I also made a small zippered pouch with a wrist strap (to hang on hooks or knobs) to take to the lavatory. Washable, of course! Thanks for your great tutorials!
These zippers are so cute.
This was a fabulous first surprise to open from the Countdown to Christmas! Those zippers are adorable and can't wait to dive into this project.
What a wonderful idea. Everyone needs a bag! Thank you for sharing! Enjoyed watching! 🧵✂️💖
I love this pouch! It's even easier & faster than your previous zippered pouch tutorial. I can't wait to make two with my new zippers from the Christmas box. Thank you.
Can’t wait, I think they are really cute! I’m loving my first day with my Jenny box!! Waiting is HARD!!!!!😂😂😂
I'm so glad to know that you use a zig zag stitch on those fancy zippers. I am thrilled with the results you achieved!
Awesome project! I’m so looking forward to opening my gift every day!
These new zippers are adorable. I did pouches similar to this with embroidered names on them for Christmas gifts this year. Wish I had the cute zippers when I was making them.
I loved unboxing day one! Can't wait for day two! I already made my two bags! LOL!
I'm another "creator in chaos" too! I missed out on the Christmas box, so I'll have to order some of these cute zippers. I have used Jenny's tutorial from several years ago to make COUNTLESS zipper pouches for gifts. People can always use zipper pouches! I love this new method!
Love, love, love these zippers! ❤️
These zippers are awesome! Thanks for sharing how to use them ♡
Love seeing your Baby Lock. I love mine so much!
These zippers what a game changer I will definitely be getting some of those.
Love, Love, Love the Day 1 Gift. Thank you!
I made these for my daughters bridal party-with matching tissue holders and masks! (She got married on November 7), and I added hand sanitizer in each bag. at the top of the pouch i added a 3 inch accent fabric and embroidered the initial in the center. super cute!!
Love 💕 them, the Zippers are so cute.
Watching the replay! Love ❤️
I believe Timberland Gnomies si the fabric line. The whole line is so so cute!
These zippers are game hangers. Can’t wait to make pouches for twin granddaughters for their birthday next month.💕💕💕
Had to almost empty the whole box to find it. Perfect size for a shopping bag. Love it. Going to order some more to make bags for my Friends
Hey Jenny, great idea. FYI I have a soft leather pouch (exactly same) that has a lobster clasp on each side on top to attach to pant loops. It works as a fanny pack (flip flap too).
Was so excited to open my Jenny box tonight! The video was a nice bonus! Such a cute pouch! 🎄
I love this pouch! While I love to see the sewing studio, I hope that your people are safe and healthy. Also hoping that next year there are more advent boxes available, this looks great!
Merry Christmas! I see zipped pillow backs! So cute! Thank you for this tutorial! Patti
I make project bags for quilt blocks and quilt blocks...these zippers will be so fun
Oh I love this bag, I have several of these zips in pink, white and red which I bought several years ago here in Australia, I haven’t used any so this will be a great use of them. Thank you very much. 😊
This is a fabulous little bag. You are right it could be used for so many things. Thanks for sharing and the video was so cute too.
Chaos is a sign of creativity
So cute!! Live the zippers!!
Thank you....I wanted the box subscription but was late! So cute.
Love these!! I was thinking Jenny could also add a lil loop on them to hang up and put lil gifts cards in. Can't wait to get some to make.

I have a BabyLock Crescendo, too! Love, love, love mine!!
Thank you for this tutorial showing us how to enjoy our first Christmas gift! I've never done a zipper of any kind before and wasn't sure what to make of my new MSQC zippers, but this looks reeeeally easy 😊
Thank you! I have a bunch of those kind of cute zippers & never figured out how to use them. I just whipped up 2 pouches for my mom in no time!
Love your new camera man! He’s very enthusiastic!
Thanks for this video. This looks like the easiest pouch ever - yet oh so cute!
Wow so easy-can’t wait to make one! Thank You for such a great idea!
I love these fancy zippers. They look great
Zippers always scare me, but this looks so easy that even I could do it. If you saw my sewing/craft room right now, you’d think it had thrown up. 😂😳
Such a great idea, I immediately ordered the pack of zips! Thanks
Today’s my birthday and what a wonderful present to open today! Love the pattern and zipper! ❤️❤️❤️
Yippee, I had just opened mine and I love it! 💖💕💝❣️💜

I think I would make a zipper bag for a baby quilt or the self binding receiving blankets! How fun!
Such a cute bag, love it.
jenny Creative Clutter is the heart of the soul!
What a fabulous tutorial. Love that idea and I will be copying it!
Thanks what a fun project, so happy I got my advent box. I think I’ll need more zippers🙂💗
I did this a couple months ago on one of my KZread Live videos - but I assembled mine a little differently and did an inset zipper by hitting the fold against the teeth of the zipper and putting the fabric on top of the zipper tape (instead of the zipper on top). The bag I did seems to measure the same size yours did. :) these are honestly the perfect size for so many things!
Love the zippers
That looks so cute! And easy? Noooo it can’t be! Beautiful!
I love this tutorial and the #1 day surprise in the Christmas box! So much fun! Thank you!
You make it look sew easy. Love this bag as a project bag for my cross stitch projects
So very cute in so so many fabrics...Thank You both..I love the vinyl on the inside for a make up bag...I have made these for my buddies at work, for their essentials, (wink, wink) they love them...
I made cute little bags and put hand sanitizing wipes in them for my sister-in-laws, for Christmas. So I gave the gift of health this year 😉
Yeah, I was wondering as the pouch is so cute and want to make it for a Christmas gift for an adult granddaughter. The one I just opened is foe me as a special remembrance from Missouri Quilt Company. Hugs to all!
I love your sewing area....it is nicer than mine. I have more piles of stuff/projects. Always knew you were a real kind of lady.
Thank you for the fun project.
When you line up the zipper, you can use a glue stick first to hold it in place.
When installing a regular zipper, I found a real easy way to maneuver your zipper pull around your presser foot. When you get to where you need to move your zipper pull out of the way, (while you're sewing) needle down, presser foot up, then take your seam ripper and stick the pointy end into the hole on the zipper pull , turn your fabric around a few times until you can push your zipper pull down the other side of the zipper that you just sewed. Easy peasy and a lot easier than trying to get your finger's n there to pull the zipper out the other side..
I also wanted to add that the "What If" ideas are enormous.
