Have you considered upgrading to rear disk - its less moving parts, less maintenance; thats what I am going to do with my car. Nice part is you can paint the calipers to match the front - i see other guys painting rear drums which is silly because a drum is a wear item and when you change it you have to repaint

Hey julian. I do have the rear disk setup and I will do the conversion at some point but I deem it essential to have some sort of biasing valves as you wouldn't want the rears locking up due to excessive braking forces as a result of the disk upgrades.

@@builtmk1795 agreed on break bias valve this is the one I will be using ATE 24.6043-1701.3 - import from UK via mail forwarder as I could not find them anywhere. They are targeted at Puegeot 205 in the UK which which uses same setup as mk1 and a bunch of other front heavy vehicles. Cut of pressure rating is 3/15

@@julianfreto1666 .I'm not sure on the biasing valves. I haven't yet delved into it. Dan chambers from DAC has put a rotary style adjustable valve on his build. Perhaps have a look at that.
