The tables take a little adjusting, but overall it has been great!

I bought one in January and finally unboxed it yesterday after I built a table for it to rest on (similar to yours). Have not set it up yet or even powered it on but will in next day or two I live in Vermont and it has finally warmed up enough to work in my shop which I’m building in a barn. Got mine on sale with a coupon.

Grabbed one of these off the "as-is" table for $155.99. Opened it up and it was brand new in the plastic wrap, i feel like i stole something 🤣

It is a huge upgrade!

I have that same Craftsman Planer and it works pretty well but the lock on the head would definitely be nice.

I view it as the best of the low budget. Obviously for more you could get something much higher quality. But at this price point, I don't think you would find anything better.

My local Harbor Freight is always sold out of these. I might just order one off the website next time a coupon pops up.

Could always Join the Inside track club. It's about $60 off just for joining. I don't shop there enough to justify it. But an option.

It did, the outfeed was fine i just had to raise the in feed side a little.

I'm saving a Dewalt 735 but this one is tempting for the price.

Thanks for the video and demo. This is embarrassing as hell. (first time user) but adjusting the thickness and knowing how many turns etc. as you taking off each layer . I DONT GET IT !!!! I read the instruction ...Any suggestion. ? I watched other videos with different brand....but some are different in their settings. Thank you again !

Under the rotation handle there is a black guide that tells you much lower it's going. I personally only take about 1/64 to 1/32 every pass.

Hercules tools are pretty much summed up as the Premium brand and the cheap store. Overall good quality but because it's Harbor Freight they're still cheap.

The quality is better than most other brands they carry.

i hate how you sped up the video the whole time it's in use, i needed to hear and see it operate. mine is loud and i was verifying if it's the same as this
