The second fan sounds VERY good
For those of you wondering what he capped off, they are transmission oil cooler fittings for Automatic celicas. Dont waste time or money on that, they are just coolers, as long as nothing comes in one side of the cooler, nothing will come out the other end. Coolant doesnt pass through it so it's okay leaving it alone

Are you 100 percent sure nothing comes out of those lines? I’m about to drop a new one in and it has those lines coming out. I don’t want to throw it in and it starts leaking out those lines. 😂

actually I think there power steeringcooling lines .. have the same exact car and those rust out supper fast so when u get a new radiator Toyota thought of just throwing them on the radiator. also a transmission and a power steering pump can take the exact same fluid like I run trannies fluid in my power steering right now . and I have a stander 1.8 L celica gts 2002 and atleast that's what I think .. the old lines make 0 sence if u look them up . lol
Thank you, explained it very easy was able to do it in 20 min!

do you need that top hose that connects from the reservoir to the radiator?
Hi couldn't find the video how you fill coolant on the new radiator can you send the link please
okay so my 02 gts radiator fluid is out, how do I add fluid to it?
Installed the same rad on the same car, it's not pratical not to have a flush valve under... loll would you remove the hose clamp if you need to flush ?
Will my Celica pass smog if I add a cold air intake like yours?
Nice croc's

Andrew Siklos hahaha thats what my girlfriend said too XD
You mentioned the plastic nipple that goes from the radiator to the reservoir broke. Can that be fixed or is that why you are replacing the radiator? Mine just broke during a routine coolant drain & refill.

I literally just broke on putting a new starter in had to remove the airbox but JB welding it into place

I did the same exact shit a couple days ago. I know you can plastic weld it back on but might as well just get a new one for 60 bucks off of rock auto. I realize you commented this a year ago did you replace it or weld it back on?

I just replaced the whole radiator. It wasn’t a terribly difficult job. Also, I figured if the plastic was brittle enough to break from that small disturbance, it would have sprung a leak or broken while I was driving at some point.

BLS36 Gotcha that’s what i’m in the process of doing right now. But I accidentally recycled one of the bottom bushing to support the radiator and it’s been tuff trying to find a new one.

If it were me, I would just go to my local Toyota Parts Dept and order a replacement bushing. Since you still have one left, you can use it as an example to cut yourself a replacement out of a rubber jack puck or something similar. Auto parts stores would be another option since they sell generic bushings. As long as you get a similar one, it will function just fine.
So the condenser is a separate unit sitting in front? Some seller was telling me BS!!
I'm trying to figure out where the hose that's go's into the bottom of the coolant fill bottle run to...does it go over the water pump housing or does it run to the rite side of the head? can u help me out

Wilson Maingrette I forgot and I dont own the car anymore. Search a guy named peter finn or go to the cilica forums online. They are great help
It doesn't look like you jacked the car up for this job. However, I noticed the lower plastic underbody covers were removed. Did you take them off to do the job or do you just always ride around like that?

There was no need to jack the car up. Are you talking about the plastic skid plates?

I gotcha. I live in florida so the road salt doesnt affect me :D also im not sure if all celicas are like this but my frame is bed lined.

Czar Corey Yeah mine is lined too. My mechanic said that's mainly fire retardant and stuff like that. Unfortunately most of mine has been eroded. I spray all the suspension subframe, brake lines, etc. Basically anything that can rust lol
Hey just realized, those fittings you capped off are probably for transmission cooler lines on automatics
@czarcorey1220

That would make sense.
