Nice video mate, good to see someone posting content about these cars. With the brake pedal feeling softer, very common and a lot of people say the same as long as they're still stopping should be all good. 👍

Thank you mate! Yeah we had a 308 GT-Line prior to this and I’m pretty sure it had the same “long” pedal feeling. Brakes feel solid. 😎

Hey great channel mate, great content and great car. I own a pre facelift 2017 model and was wondering if you got any knocking noise coming from the front end suspension? We can't seem to find the issue (whole suspension checked and one of the wishbones front left replaced). It's only after a longer drive and with slow speeds over bumpy roads you can hear it. But sometimes i also think i hear (maybe also feel) it during light braking or slow cornering. So figured it also might have something to do with the brakes. Discs and calipers are still original i believe. Also how do you feel about daily driving it? Bit harsh or not? I feel like the more i push it the smoother it gets😅 anyway good luck with the car and channel and enjoi it. will definately be watching upcoming content. Cheers

Thanks so much! I currently daily mine and have an absolute blast every morning and night. Regarding the knocking.. mine has 0 knocking and feels super tight, could be top mounts?

Can i ask how did u get the pistons out? Any tips before i begin? And How to clean the calipers? Brakleen? And the seals anything special installing them? 😊

To get the pistons out I quite literally pulled them out. The ones that were stuck I shoved a piece of wood in the calliper and pressed the pedal until they came out. Clean them with Brake/Parts cleaner! 😁

So you changed the back pistons as well? Thought it was only the front that had to be changed

@xiolage Alright, cool. I was so confused for a second,😅 but I kind of wished you showed the part how you put in the pistons, like in what order, and the seals on them aswell since I'm debating on doing it on my own. But I'm kind of scared that I'm going to mess it up.😅 none the less good video.😁

This is all 308 GTi’s with Alcon brakes up front as far as i’m aware. Easy to check when you’re next doing the pads 😊
