SUBSCRIBED! I have same color 97 WS6 I've been fighting 3 years. 3rd motor (stock), 2nd tune, every sensor replaced within time span, shorty bbk's, and just read a thread about oxygen sensors and may have overlooked tg hem. I'm ordering 4 denso oxygen sensors just to try. Have other motor and a slew of future upgrades to do, just need her running right!

Mass airflow sensor, o2 sensor, big big ticket items on those cars

The crank sensor can cause that issue and cause false reading for misfires. I would change that .

Don’t give up. My bf said it may be the Egr tube. If you can’t clear it, there’s a way to bypass

Thanks Mariah. I checked the EGR tube when I replaced the EGR, so I'm pretty sure it's good. New coil didn't do the trick, so Optispark distributor will be next!

Good Afternoon, I have the same 1994 Trans am as you and was wondering how you pull codes off of the car? My Trans am recently started getting the SES light whenever the engine gets warm and the fans power on. The strangest thing is the light will go off after after about 7-15 minutes of driving and come back on subsequently with every other drive. Hope to hear back!

C O M F Y as you’ve seen and as I’m sure you’ve experienced, getting a reader to work in this car is problematic. I think I have a solution and I’ll tackle it in the next TA video. Thanks for watching and be sure to sub so you’ll get a notification when I put that vid out.

We all have a similar problem with the whole “stumble” issue on these cars. Your waisting money throwing parts at it and I hope you at least use O E M parts if you do decide to waiste money like that. First you should test each sensor. Procedures are in the shop manuals which you can buy on eBay. A lot of these oldies have sat around a lot and have carbon deposits everywhere. Bu6 a bottle of cata cleans and tank it up with super unleaded. Drive the car on the highway and run it out. See how it runs. Still a stumble with no codes? Ok, that’s a vacuumed leak possibility. Use a smoker or just spray carb on all the vac hoses and intake. Eli eve it or not, just cleaning the carbon build up on the butterfly nostrils your getting burned on help out alot. See all that carbon on your idle sensor? That’s a dead give away. Take that black plate off the top of the throttle plate box and clean that out big time. Reinstall it and see what it does. Last stop oxygen sensors. Opti spark only bad if the water pump leaked out. Been there done that waisted the money,

Also, mass air flow sensors don’t go without a code, another way is run it on a diagnostic. Replace plugs and wires first. See if it’s rich or lean. Check the levels. All good? No codes still? If it stumble a tad on initial accelerate then screams down the road smooth. It’s low idle and that’s all vacuum issues. EGR cures it. Check hoses of course. Clean the throttle plates and the black plate cover on top clean that out good. Mine is running again well. Idles up and down a bit which could be o2 sensors not getting a good read and check wires and plug connections for mouse bites too. You’d be surprised how the wire harness with a little brittleness can mess up the engine

Omg I've had same issues w our 94 TA GT. Did every sensor and opti, plugs wires, intake gasket even took out catalytic converter, engine ran much better. 2 months ago started missing / jerking big at hwy speed 80mph and WOT, and a couple weeks later just around town it hesitates at traffic lites and cruising 35mph. Now yesterday died no start at intersection. Got FP but think it's a no spark. So many posts about body modules with ign key map just chasing my tail. Will look at ign fuse u posted in your other video. Have gone thru every sensor wire w volt meter. It's crazy car had 52k when we bought it 2yrs ago has 57k now but nothing but headaches
