Dear senior HVACR technicians if you really want to help the community, especially for young technicians in the field, please list the symptoms of failure parts at the beginning of your videos, then start your specific projects. Thank you.

I think I put a link late in the video to the video where I diagnosed this one.

Whenever a system has been open to atmosphere, especially for a while, try this. For speed, use the T.E.M., triple evac method. 1. A very quick suck down, lightly, to -20 only, then goose it with Nitrogen to +100. 2. Again, quick, but deeper, not too deep. 3. Last time, suck it down HARD, down to the FULL MONTY, below 500 mic. (Should go down quickly now.) Nitrogen acts like a magnet, grabbing onto all the GGNCG's, (pronounced: "GIGNIGS" (Goober-Gas-Non-Condensables Gremlins). We like NITRO!!

I did do that. But, needed to change my oil, and didn’t have any with me. So, I decided to just wait it out. It took me about 45 minutes

With a system that looks like it has quiet a few birthdays under it's belt and using R22, I'd push for a new system.

@@HVACGUY idk where u work at. But my state Massachusetts has the Mass $ave heat loans for Heat Pumps with 0% financing and decent rebates. So someone that cant afford replacement its a good option to finance it with 0% over 8 year period. Even if they do have the $ the 0% intrest finance is an even better option, so can use $ for something else.
