Anyone notice the other side. The entire hub and caliper assembly is just hanging by the brake hose.

dude, the bushings in the control arms wear out over time ... by 80-100k miles, you will need to replace them or get wobble in the front end... it is a common issue with the WK2

حبيبي شغل ايدينا تقريبا ناخذ ٢٠٠ الف ... لكن سعرها متفاوت يعني كلمن بكيفه ... اكو ناس جابوها ب ٢٢ ورقه الشكل الجديد و قسم جابوعا حتى ب ٧ ورقات ... احنه مموجوده عدنا ما اعرف سعرها بالضبط

cheaper to have them replace the control arms than just the bushings ... you can see the amount of labor for the bushings ... when you replace the arms (that come with new bushings) ... they drop the old arm off, place the new one in ...

it's cheaper to just buy a set of control arms and replace them ... a lot more work to do the bushings only

A bushing is only 40 to 70 bucks a control arm is about 180 to 250, if it was a couple of bucks then yea I could see the reason for the whole control arm

@@DoubleDutchrutter reason is it is much easier to replace the control arm quickly than to take it off, press the old bushing out, etc. unless you have your own shop or setup in a garage. It's that simple.
