I have a 1995 dutchman, I'd love to know how you think I can fix it. The roof had a leak I fixed and used rustoluium elastomeric on it. I got a new canvas made as a red squirrel got in damn buggers... but the tracks for the canvas uo top are not holding well the wood obviously is rotten.... which also likely best to do whole roof since some of the trim is coming away. I'd love your imput. From a mom of 3 who is the Mrs handiwork. I have some pics

Its not that heavy, keep in mind that the roof lost a lot of weoght because its not supporting 75lbs of canvas now.

The roof is slightly heavier than the original roof, but not by much, I used thin 1/4" plywood for that reason as well as 1x1 studs which are very light. Also, consider that there would have been about 80lbs of canvas attached to the original roof, as well as other accesories, all supported by the same roof mechanism, so my estimate is that at the end of the day, its actually perhaps maybe a bit lighter than the original setup.
