I couldn't find a Hopkins $10 connector on Amazon. I read all the links you provided but didn't see the part number for that connector. Wanna share?

I thought I was the only one. I lay under my truck and tell my son, give me the screwdriver that looks like a star.
Once you saw it was only mud why would you still replace it? The original one was mounted correctly. Amazon has a great return policy!

Totally. It was only 10 bucks and I accidentally busted one of the clips taking it off so I decided to just use the new one.
05 diesel...im guessing 6 liter. Have the heads been studded? oil cooler been changed? Have ay of the 6 liter issues been updated? Just curious. I recently bought an 04 dually with the 6 liter
Use lots of dielectric grease in your electrical connections.
