Just acquired a Dual 1225 for free. It's in pristine condition, but the tone arm wasn't starting. I knew that the Steuerpimple was important, but didn't know where to look for it. This video made it very clear. Ordering one for my turntable today! Thanks

Thank you so much, l was in need of a turn table my old one died, electrical problem on board. l was giving a DUAL CS 1258 automatic turn table, arm was not working watched your video and that was the problem plastic part was not on the pin, was in the bottom of the base broken and laying there, made new one out plastic on my lath and now working great. Add Dual CS-1258 turn table to your list "THUMBS UP" from the other side of the pond.

Thanks for this great video. Helped a lot. I still wonder, why at the begginning of the lateral movement of the tonearm, the steurpimple moving the tonearm, then the tonearm stopped in place, and the steurpimple slipping on the black lever without moving the tonearm (tonearm remain in the starting point) What is the stopping the tonearm from moving? In my turntable after the tonearm stopped in the atarting point, suddenly it keep moving towards the center. Driving me mad.

Would you have any idea on replacing the spring CPI for a dual 522, part 106? I am in need of a new one.
