Thank you for this video! I had to do the same thing and grind out the bolts. In the end I didn't reuse the baffles because the nuts stripped the plastic. Decided to get new ones instead. LG also updated the baffle design. Everything is all up and running again now. A great learning experience.

I was able to drill the two blind holes for those screws that hold on the agitator mount. Finally, after hours of labor this came apart with no need to destroy the unobtainium bolts for the spider. Thank you for the video!

VERY helpful and very much appreciated! One thing to note...the reason that replacement bolt was longer is because it is a Stator Motor bolt....what you should have ordered is the Spider Arm Bolt

unfortunately your washer us not going to last very long. Those bolts that you cut that hold the spider arm to the tub are hardened stainless steel (they don't corrode and are stronger than normal steel). The bolt from the stator motor windings that you shortened are steel and will corrode depending on your use (laundry detergent, bleach, etc). The corrosion (rust) from this steel bolt will appear on your clothes. This is not the proper way to repair this washer.

I ended up tack welding the nuts onto the steel plate, so this would never happen again. But of course not everyone has a welder.
