Wow 3 years old and still extraordinarily helpful! Was fighting for 10 minutes with it. Would've never found that latch!

YES. this was one of the simplest videos I watched on this. I knew it had to be "easier" than what some of the other videos were doing. THANKS!

I broke off that little piece that u push in to open it ughh! It wouldn't close back so I tried to bring it up so maybe it'd click back in but it broke off. Trying to glue it now so I don't need to buy a new one. Fml

Thank you so much sir! I probably would've done a lot of damage or broke it trying to pry it open without knowing those areas to hit to make it simple. You saved me money too because I was going to go to an alarm shop and pay for them to change it. Thanks again. May the riches comes to you for sharing this!

one key done and it was easy peasy - but the second one doesn't have a tab to push in order to get past the first step (second hand car I guess the previous owner broke it off) is there another way to open it? I've tried poking a tiny screw driver into the gap where the tab used to be but it doesn't budge! Many thanks for the clear video

Thanks for the video, it was very helpful. However my central lock doesn't work remotely after battery replacement. It was replaced properly, because red light blinks on the key when I press open/close button.

This is great! I followed another video and opened the first part then got stuck on opening the battery box. You helped with that little switch easily exposing the battery which is the key point! Appreciate!

My battery has been flat for over a year and I haven't wanted to pay for the battery to be replaced. I expected it to be difficult but your instructions were very clear. Thanks!

2 years w/o working fob. Your video is perfect - short and sweet and to the point. I can see inside of the fob better than on the one I am holding. I am getting the battery now. THANK YOU!!

Great video. I have done this a few times. Just did it again and the whole lot fell apart. Fortunately had a spare fob so I could work out which bits went where. Still took 30 mins to do a 2 minute job! All good now.
