Thank you for these techniques. I also have thin locks like the few you had. I had them immediately after starting. SO I stopped all twisting and did a few combos like you have done. Make sure not to have anyone over-twist to the base fragile locks or areas.

HELLO, GREAT VIDEO!! I HAVE HEARD THAT, YOU MOISTURIZE FIRST BEFORE RETWISTING. AND I WOULD HAVE CLIPPED IT, AND ADDED SMALL PIECE OF LOOSE HAIR TO MY THIN CUT LOC HAIR THEN CROCHETTED THE WHOLE LOCK BACK ON, JUST SAYING. PLEASE NO RETWISTING ON DRY HAIR, WILL CAUSE BREAKAGE.

Thank you. I just combine the really thin ones now by twisting them together. I find that it's much easier.

I know this video is a year old and I'm pretty sure you got better at crocheting but you should've palm rolled the loc first until it get a lil tight the folded the thin part into your new growth then crochet it are like you said combine two locs together

You could also buy kinky bulk human hair to add a small amount to your base. Your method of waiting it out might be safer though since you’re not adding weight. Maybe that area will grow out more and you won’t need to add hair.

ALSO I LEARNED FROM A LOCTITIAN THE OTHER DAY THAT WHEN YOUR HAVE SMALL LOCS ITS NIT RECOMMENDED TO DO INTERLOC , TGAT CAN CAUSE HAIR TO BUILD KNITS & LATER BREAK 💔

I believe that plus I'd forget at times which direction I went in and it lead to holes. I twist now, and I like the aesthetics much better.

I combined my thin ones with a thicker loc next to while retwisting it at the root i hate interlocking i did it 2x never again

What did you dislike about interlocking?

I got a hole bunch locs that’s that thin at root I’m not sure how to fix it😭

Oh no. I'd see a loctician who specializes in repairing locs.

I’m scared it look like a big piece of my loc is gone come out and I’m lose most my length 🤧🤧🙌
