Repairing the Range Rover L322 seat leather

Here I’m just trying to spruce-up the bolsters of the passenger seat to remove cracking/creases & discolouration where someone has previously tried recolouring the seat.
This 250ml bottle of “self seal colourant” only costs £15 and seems to be a very close colour match for my seats. I used perhaps 1/4 of the bottle doing this job & will do the drivers seat this weekend (hopefully).

I'm planning on using this stuff for my car (it's now called Repair Paint) its a 2007 so its been well loved and worn out in places. I have the Ultra clean and that got a lot of the grime out of the grain just unsure if I need to do any further prep. The end result look really good though!

If you use neat TFR it will bring it straight up looking like new road traffic film remover it is great I used it on mine and it looks brand new

All you actually needed to do was a proper deep leather cleaning and conditioning . The leather in my Discovery 3 (alpaca coloured) looked like yours with that in ground dirt, I used the Mothers leather cleaner and conditioner kit with a power rotating brush head and got all the dirt out of the pours and creases and once I was done all the cracks almost disappeared and the seats looked so bright and rejuvenated as they were when new.

Loved the video, thanks for uploading, I have the same seats and am going to buy from The Furniture Clinic as you recommend seen as this turned out a treat. I've added the CR10 to my basket, but what finish did you go for? I'm thinking 'Semi-Matte' or 'Matte' rather then gloss or satin. But then again, I'm not sure what satin is. Do you recall what you went for? Thanks!!

Darren Talbot well, actually I did have some overspray although I cleaned it off straight away with baby wipes. That’s just my fault for rushing because it’s my daily driver... if you can take your time it’s much better 👍

Nut Job 😂 worth a go ha ha. So other than the jobs you’ve been filming etc how reliable is the rangy? Compared to stories you hear and the general consensus surrounding the Range Rover?

Well mine’s been awesome to be honest. I’ve covered about 5k since I bought it & nothing has given me any concern... obviously others have had problems, but of course the people with issues are always 10x louder than all those who are happy & going about their business 🤔

Quick request from me. Most of the channels I follow provide a link to the tools and products they feature on the vids. Would you be able to shove some links in the description for the stuff you use? Would be really useful. Cheers!

Stop sniffing and wiping your nose with your hand. It's driving me feckin nuts. On the other hand, this is useful stuff to see. I have areas on an L405 leather interior that are showing wear. Airbrushing was interesting. Might be better if you did it when it was not raining so you can stand outside and reach in?

You’re right, I realised I was doing it a lot but it’s always cold & wet... unfortunately I only have limited time between work & family commitments so I just make the odd video when I can. Hopefully the weather will improve & I won’t have to wear 4 layers too! 😂
