Just done these on my 2011 Autobiography. If you bend the pins inside the units down just a little bit the connector goes on easily the correct way without having to file anything off the connector. The bulbs however have to have the wires on the actual bulb bent to the outside a bit to make contact in the connector. Thought I had been sent a load of duff bulbs.

Great guide as always guys, but have you tried changing the welcome lights on a 2007 L322? Passenger side is sandwiched inside glove box door. Thanks!

Welcome lights…. On my 2011 there’s one retaining clip at 3 o’clock and one at 9 o’clock so it’s simple to prise out from the front - just dig deep!!

which brand is recommended since it appears you do not stock now? Thanks.

I just prised out the welcome lights from the front....easy....though this was on a 2011 model so might be more difficult on a 2006

You should find that by bending the bulb pins a little the original plugs will fit, it is a bit fiddly, but they do fit. Chris B.

powerfulukltd When I put the gear in D even though the headlight knob is in 0 position ,the xenon automatically turn on.

hey, this may be a little unrelated but are u aware if it’s possible to swap the lr3 interior door panels with lr4 ones? it appears that they’re the same shape and size but i don’t want to spend a bunch of money to find out they won’t fit. Or if anyone has a permanent solution to the horrendous noise the plastic interior handles make in the lr3 that works too lol it drives me crazy that’s the main reason i want to switch them

Unrelated... yes totally... but we love random questions ..... we will make this as list for us to look at - we have a D3 and a D4 What is the problem with the plastic handle

powerfulukltd it’s the ones u grab to close the door from the inside, and when you touch it they all sound like cheap plastic creaking. I think it’s because there’s 2 pieces coming together, but i can’t find a way to get rid of the noise.l and it drives me crazy.
