Repair Bionic Arm | Shoulder - Six Million Dollar Man - Kenner Action Figure Fix

Ойын-сауық

Making a detailed repair on a broken shoulder connector tab on a vintage Kenner Six Million Dollar Man 'Bionic Man' figure. It's not a quick fix, but it's one that will repair the figure for a long term toy repair, and maintain his proper appearance. Because of the detail and time involved this episode is a part of the "Toy Tinker Tim Studio Edition" series.

This is one of my favorite toys. Really enjoyed this video. I would love to find replacement skins that are more authentic than a balloon. Have you got any suggestions?

Thanks for watching Brian! I'm actually making arm skins now. I'm wanting to get them as close to original as possible (color, thickness, etc). I know what you mean about the balloons, I've seen a number of them on eBay. I expect to be offering my own design soon. 👍

I agree on the skin thing. The balloon thing is ok, but not a great fix.

Can standard 1/6th scale clothing fit on these figures?

  • @ToyTinkerTim

The Kenner Six Million Dollar Man figure (about 13" tall) is larger than say Hasbro GI Joe figures. I'm not sure what other 1:6 scale clothing you're considering, I'm pretty sure he has a hard time with contemporary figure clothing like Dragon Models, etc. scale. Hope this helps.

I have a question, I was going to buy one, but his leg is broken in the same manner. Could I use this same technique for the leg?

Each figure's particular break, although similar, will be unique. BUT, it may be a good process to start with and rescue a cool vintage toy
