Rep Fitness Showroom Tour
I take you on a Rep Fitness Showroom Tour during the Grand Opening in Carlisle, PA. It was a great experience to see and feel their products first hand and get to play with the equipment before potential purchase. Does it feel good, will it fit in my space, does the color look the same in person as it does online? A visit to the showroom can answer many of those questions when considering many of the products from Rep Fitness. I also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with a couple of viewers (Sean & Rick) of the channel who recognized me and it was fun to talk shop! Join me as I share my experience touring the facility.
Also, if you've seen my reviews and are considering their products as a result, please consider using my affiliate code:

As someone who owns a number of REP pieces, I really enjoyed this tour. REP offers quite a selection of very solid equipment. You are looking pretty jacked man! Thanks for the inside look Marcus!

Thanks Phil and I agree with the satisfaction of their equipment! Thanks man!
Awesome! I was hoping you'd do a video on your visit. You saved me a trip 😆 I still may go, but I'll wait until I want to purchase something now that I've seen it. I agree, the clear coat looks awesome! I really love the REP brand and what they've been doing. I really enjoyed the video! Thanks for this ✌️

My Pleasure Carter and thanks for watching. Yeah, if you've got something on your wish list, then save the trip for that and get the 10% discount shopping at the showroom! Perhaps wait until some of the newer products are released so you can see them and try them in person, first.
Great walk through, thanks for taking the time. Have looked over their website 100 times and the equipment looks so much better live view. Good thing they are 2 day drive away.

Yeah, not exactly in the neighborhood, but it was worth the trip.
Great Review Marcus, especially since I own 80 percent of my Home Garage Gym from recommendations from You and Brandon, it's nice to see an up close and personal viewpoint of the company that so easily and convincingly fills my gym with more than unnecessary products. However, the best part of the video was how many times you were able to say your favorite Home Gym slogan "Knurling"! I lost count after a while. LOL

Great tour, thank you! I'm so happy you shared this!!! Did they mention if they would be getting the Ares, selectorized lat pull, or the trap bar? Not sure if you saw the deep knurl ex bar, but was wondering what you thought of it compared to the kabuki bar?
@twistedbarbell3950

Hey Todd, thanks! They did not mention when those items may be in the showroom or shipping. The only 2 items they had from their new product list were the SSB and the Oxylus Yoke. Yes, I did get my hands on the EX bar and it was fantastic! Great build quality and finish and with an exceptional feeling Knurl IMO. It may have felt better than my Kabuki bar TBH, but without having them side by side to carefully compare, it's really hard to say. Brandon has both and maybe he could speak to that. The SS finish really exposes the knurling nicely where it is nicely exposed and not filled in with any finish to it. Granted, it's not a "Raw" bar, but it felt really GOOD.

I have the deep knurl bar and the regular stainless bar... The ex deep knurl bar is so much better that I never use my stainless unless I'm doing something in the landmine attachment. I also have the Texas deadlift bar and still think the ex knurling feels better
Thanks for the tour. Much appreciated. Don't know what curl bar you have now, but when I went from a cheaper 25.4mm bar (did the job just fine though) to the Rogue 28.5mm bar, it just felt so much better. Definitely recommend a thicker curl bar over thinner ones.

Thanks for watching Gavin! Agreed...I have an XMark curl bar and it's kind of toyish, but it too does the job. I did want the SS curl bar, but punked out! 😂 I think I'll still order one soon, though!

Marcus, just stumbled upon your channel and subscribed! I'm turning 40 soon and I definitely relate to your videos. My body started breaking down a few years ago and I've had to really focus on my fitness journey. Rep has won my heart. I have had the AB5000, the Deep Knurl Power Bar EX, and the Rackable Curl Bar for a couple of years now. LOVE all three! I primarily use the Deep Knurl for squats and deadlifts, but also for bench and shoulder presses if my hands are sweaty. I used to have the Rogue Curl Bar, but sold it after seeing a review of the Rep Rackable. I absolutely love it for skullcrushers, which I rest on my safety straps as my start/end point. Loading up plates on my j-cups for curls is super convenient. I will admit it was wierd having such a long curl bar at first, but I won't ever be able to go back to a normal one. Rep has impressed me so much that I have decided to upgrade my Rogue 390F Rack to a PR5000 + Ares sometime in the next 12-24 months. Happy Lifting! 💪

Philip, welcome to my channel and thanks for the sub! Glad you’ve enjoyed some content and I urge you to check out some of my recent videos focusing on lifting into older age. I also have a lengthy 1 yr update on my Rep rack that many have said helped them with their choices. I will have a review on my upcoming upgrade of my plate loaded Lat lo row, to weight stack once it arrives in the next couple of weeks. Lift smart and stay safe!
Cool video and explanation on the different items. That was my son and I in the video. He wanted to try everything. I went there to try the open trap bar, and they didn’t have it. I asked and they said maybe September.

How's the knurl on the deep knurl EX power bar compare to the Ohio Power bar?
@twistedbarbell3950

The Knurling on the EX bar is exceptional! Sharp and grippy. I only have the RO Deadlift bar to compare it to and it's sharper than that (Peaks instead of Volcano). You really couldn't go wrong with either one.
