in the market for the coupe C63s. the market is so bad right now gonna give it time but I'd love to have the car now for summer😅

I know you are a little north of me but do you know any places that installs downpipes and can tune near south carolina?

Sorry closest I know to you would be Renntech in Stuart Florida, unless you come up near Maryland I know a few shops around here can do it. But nothing in South Carolina.

Renntech and myself did most of the modifications. For service the shop i was using moved out of state. So now I go with Elite Imports in Laurel. The owner Chris is a great guy. The best AMG focused shop in the area is Modern Masters but they are out by Hagerstown so a hike but very knowledgeable mechanics.

I have a c63s and did a Dme stage 2 tune and haven’t dynoed yet but their website said it would make around 620 horsepower. You upgraded the turbos and are at 644?!?

I could get significantly more but it will shorten the motors life span. I know multiple people that have blown their motors with DME tunes. Im running a safe tune Renntech warranties it, if it damages the motor. DME can tune to the limits because they don’t warranty your motor if it blows.

Also are they claiming 620bhp or 620whp ?

Never mind I googled it. You are getting 620 bhp, my car is 764 bhp. On a dyno you will be around 550- 560whp.

Do you still have the car and why no more content

I had a nightmare issue with a shop. The car is pretty much the same as it was. I added Weistec meth tank but after all the issues it never got tuned for it. The shop wore the clutch plates out in the transmission s its getting a built trans this winter. I really need to do an update and story time.

How does the car handle with the Renntech Coilovers? I just got mine in the mail and planning to have them installed this month sometime

It keeps the active damper, stiffens up the spring a little and adds ride height adjustments. I’m lowered an inch and the car feels very planted. I have no complaints.

@@LiSTRONG631 stiffest setting is nearly 0 noticeable body roll. Anytime I’m messing with multiple corners I run the middle setting just to help with weight transfer entering corners.

Tune and filters will definitely wake the car up. I did stage 1 filters, tune, exhaust and made 540whp. Completely changes the way the car feels.

@@GunSurgeon Nice does it turn the boost up? I like how your car has the actual turbo sound stock you don't really get that. Is that a special Blow off valve or the bigger turbos you think?

@@braceface8742 The tune ups the boost. The sound you hear are the Renntech BOV's. Super easy to install.

@@braceface8742 Tune is something you do yourself. It plugs in to your OB2 plug right under the steering wheel. Literally takes under 5 mins anyone can do it. BOV's are pretty simple but you could find a shop in your area to install those.

Fastest I’ve had on draggy is 6.8 but that was with traction issues. Got a set of drag radials but haven’t installed them yet car has been at Renntech for service and an issue with the charge air intercooler.

Still can’t afford the the c63’s so expensive 90k + . Have to stick with my c450 until it dies. So I’ll just be dreaming..

Economy is in the toilet right now. Car market is in a weird place to. I honestly would wait and not buy anything until rates go down. The new C63s is a 4 cylinder electric hybrid that makes 670hp.

Some people got some weird taste in wheels haha

It was tuned by RennTech in Stuart Florida. Currently it’s being retuned for meth injection by Kevin at GoLabWorx which should put us around 800whp

Weak numbers for those mods. Weistec w4 turbos all the way

I’m happy with it. The Weistec W4 Turbos weren’t available when I built this car.
