I told my mom about this movie and she suggested that the parents' reaction to Lilly being freaking dead was them "being in shock". I think mom was giving the movie WAY more credit than it deserves.

Nate, your beautiful statement on the loss of loved ones made me cry. We can’t make new experiences with those we’ve lost, but we can always cherish the ones we had with them.

So sorry for your losses. I know what that feels like. My father passed away 5 years ago. My mother, a few months ago. It's a terrible feeling and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Thank you for opening up here.

I had never watched this special or seen Doug's mom until now. Her passing is sad but she raised commendable sons. R.I.P. Mrs. Walker, and thank you along with Mr. Walker for working so hard to teach your children such loving values. *Nostalgia Critic* and those behind the show have given so much to us over the years, helping people through some tough times, and we wouldn't have that without the family that started it all. You are everything that parents should be.

To this who said this 8 months ago, I was sad when I heard that his mother passed away I was sad too. But never the less, let us hope he still keeps going forward and hope for the best for him.

I'm very sorry for both your loses. I've never lost a close family member, but I imagine it must be difficult for those who have. Christmas can be a time of remembering all that you've lost, but also a time of remembering and cherishing all that you still have. All those happy moments that you had with your family happened, they were times that you shared with them. And you're right, Nate. I think that the people we've all lost would want us to live our lives and be happy, not spending our time being sad and mourning them. And Ben, I like hearing what you have to say. You're a cool dude. I hope the new year brings good things for you guys. For all of us.

My Mom passed away when I was 19, and honestly at that point, I've already completely let her go. She had suffered for more than a decade and I felt like it was better for her to go. But I can't help but still feel a little mad. I wanted her to recover and live with me for the next several more years, not gone.

I didn't plan on feeling today. Man did that hit me hard

Clearly this should've been called "DAFUQ!?: The Movie".

They barley show any emotions in the special.

When I look at the animation, all I can think of is the Mr. Creasote scene from Monty Python. Side note, I don't know what mics they used but, they cut out so much.

I lost my sister to cancer almost three years ago. Every Christmas has been hard but it's gets a bit better each time. I remember all the memories we have as a family. She was only 20 years old and lasted 6 months. I pray for you guys and Doug. I am sorry for your loss and i will pray for you.

What I love about Christmas is that "because it's Christmas" is a reason. This time of the year, people ARE kinder, people WILL help others they haven't met, World war one DID grind to a halt. Why? "Because it's Christmas". It doesn't have to be about the presents, or even religion, this time of year has grown to mean so much more than even that. Christmas has been a season of goodwill, miracles small and large and kind acts for so long in our history that it has attained an independent meaning unto itself. Yes bad things happen, but somehow the world understands that this isn't right. As cynical as we've become we still associate the holiday with the good we can all do. The random acts of charity and compassion, the thought and understanding behind looking for a gift, feuds put aside so others can be happy and even the famous Christmases of days gone by, I can only describe Christmas as a symbol of itself, because nothing else comes close. "It's christmas", everything else goes without saying. It's... a little odd but one of my favourite Christmas specials is Invader Zim, purely for an unintended statement in the ending..... Huddled in nuclear fallout shelters, fearing for their lives from a mutant Santa costume (okay REALLY odd), mankind still celebrates Christmas. And the reason i think it's great is that i can honestly believe we would. If You don't enjoy this time of year then I am sorry, and you have every right to..... but I've seen it do so much good in the world that i can only love it.

0:12 I had that same feeling when I was informed by my friend that he had seen Freddy Got Fingered and he said that it was really bad and I should not watch it.

I wish you guys would have watched after the credits because it shows Doug saying thanks to his mom and dad then leaves while his mom asks “who was that?” To which Barney replies “I don’t know.”

Wonderful video guys, got me thinking about my own mother who passed 4 years ago now. Was a very rough time for me as she had a heart attack and I found her in the bathroom. I don't know if im still over it. but in any case this video just got me thinking more of her and the good times. It helps to hear others share their stories for me, sorry for all your losses as well. All we can do is push on as best we can.

Go watch phelouss take on this demon. He had a hard time with this either. Just gonna say this. An All Dogs Christmas Carol is one my most faves next to many others. Also, my dads sister passed away as well and it was difficult for my family especially my dad and his brother. My brother and i didn't shed a tear because i felt that enough tears have been shaded on the day of her walk and funeral.But in the side i was crying, of corse i did morn and cried later of course. But i told everyone when everyone making there speeches, i told everyone to not morn forever for the person who has passed, always be happy with the ones you love and honor that person by living with love for one another. Oh and well said about your grandfather man, he sounds like an awesome guy. Happy New Year Renegades and God Bless you.
