Lord Kitchener, Mr. Aldwyn Roberts was a master composer,right up there with Beethoven, Bach, Joplin (as in Scott), Tchaikovsky and others. The Grand Master of Calypso! I thank God for Lord Kitchener. I discovered him late, but even so, he has changed my life!

I had the pleasure to play with Jit Samaroo for two years. It was an amazing experience and for all who do not know, he's on a totally different level than most arrangers. The runs will make you sweat, the timing speeds up as you play and the energy is out of this world LOL I love this man, nuff respect.

Musically 🎼 speaking renegades won the DAMN panorama, there’s no comparison btwn all stars, or phase 11, renegades music 🎶 was much of a higher class then them all SLEEP IN PEACE DR JIT, we’ll always miss YOU

Just listening back to All Stars Curry Tabanca, Phase II Dis Feeling Nice and now this and for real, this was the most intricate. But Curry Tabanca remains a favourite because of the excitement I feel when I hear it. I know if by heart!

This is absolutely amazing! we played an arrangement of this for percussion ensemble. Four marimbas with a guest artist on steel pan. Amazing piece

This is one of the best arrangements I have ever heard for pan or any kind of music, period. This should have won Panorama that year as opposed to All Starts with Curry Tabanka. It was a no contest as far as I am concerned. I could never like any band over Renegades with the Jit and Kitchener combination. What a pleasure it was to live through those times.

Ian Anthony Curry Tabanca is a classic. 1987 was one of the finest years. This beat Allstars, Who came 3rd. Phase II took the title that year

Great arrangement, but no it's not the greatest arrangement of all time. It's not even Jit's greatest. "Mystery Band - 1993" any and every day of the week over "Pan in A Minor". It's searched the world over due to the timing of its release and the name! I've been in the game a while.

The greatness of any piece of music goes by, for one thing, the number of people who perform your piece, note for note and if you check world wide the number of steel orchs. who have performed Pan in A minor verbatim is really astounding. As for Mystery Band, great but not as good. My opinion.
