Met the iconic Pitoy Morenona a few times. He was so humble to speak to a nobody like me. Also been to the shop of Renee Salud. I met just see Pitoy in hotel lobby.

I like mama Rene Salud, sa aura Nia totoo mabait ang ating mama.

Mabait talaga yang si Renee Salud nagpunta kami sa shop niya malapit sa Greenbelt kasi mag papadesign yung sister ko. Nagulat ako, grabe siya magasikaso samin kahit na hindi pa siya sure kung magpapagawa kami o hindi. Ganyan na talaga siya kahit dati pa punong puno ng wisdom. Yung paligid sobrang positive energies lang kapag nandyan siya.

Philippine legend na yang si Rene Salud.

Si Rene Salud ang nagpaumpisa ng MERMAID GOWNS sa international pageant scene.

Na met ko si Rene Salud dito sa Malaysia Asean fashion show dinner at kasama namin sa table. Ang bait at napakahumble, friendly pa.

During my highschool day i have a friend maybe apprentice ni Mama Rene or intern i forgot tagal na nun. Anyway this friend of mine sinama ako sa isang fashion show ni Mama Rene salud and take not nasa dressing room din ako. Nakita ko at nakasama mga sikat na fashion icons dati like Ms. Marina Benipayo i forgot the names of the rest. Nagulat ako sinama ako sa Prayer before the show at hawak hawak kami ng nga kamay. Thats was very new to me, nervous, shy and i felt akward hahaha ( i felt i shouid not be there in the first place) mga sikat sila at oh my ang tatangkad. Anyway back to Mama Rene sa isang mesa na may mga food buffet style, hindi ko tanda if si Mama Rena or si Sir Joey fashion director ata asked kung " Ineng sino gumawa ng ilong mo" hahaha. For sure sinabi ko na hindi gawa i was only in 3rd or 4th year highschool at that time. Mama Rene was friendly ni hindi nga tinanong kung sino ako, bakit ako nandoon at kung bakit ako nakiki kain hahaha. That was one of the few unforgetable moment in my life.

i love mama rene salud....i was so lucky to meet her in new york 2018 at the Philippines Embassy new york! She was very nice and approachable. We talked about when my mom went to her store in e rodriguez qc my mom ask her for a design clothing in the 80s ... i was only in 14 yrs old . Love Renee Salud!

True, sa sobrang dami na ng titles and pageants nawawala na pag ka precious ng isang miss philippines. Dapat sa isang pageant nandun na ung 5 alpha titles, Universe, World, International, Earth, Supra hayaan niyo na ubg isa ung Grand mag solo. Mga show girl naman hanap Nila dun.. Dapat ganun tapos ang title lang ng programa Miss Philippines.. Ganun dapat... Para Mas kaabang abang na din. Tsaka hindi nakakaumay at nakakalito. Renee Salud is very honest and one of the best! 💕

i met mama rene salud in my 20s when i used to organize fashion shows (which didn't last... flop ang pucha kasi back then, magpa-approve ka ng proposal aabutin ng siyam2x dahil sa manila pa ang approval... i dunno now if meron na ba'ng local budget for advertising or kung puro ex-deal pa rin)... anyway, mama rene is very nice and sweet, hindi siya ma-alta though she knows she is... talagang "yes darling, how can i be of help?" kung bumati... me iba kasing designers na supladita kahit local lang at hindi naman kanila yung pagawaan at trabahante lang dun...

Siya talaga ang nagpave way sa career ni Miss Melanie Marquez. ❤👑
