I grew up watching him in his prime form along with Waqar... I am an Indian however always appreciated this man... he is a gentleman.. Cricket is not the same.. they don't produce such bowlers anymore... I will always appreciate his performance and hope I get to meet him one day in person

May God bless her departed soul...just watched Wasim's recent interview where he got so emotional about Huma...life changes so much with time!

It was after 1998-99 series.....Pak team & Wasim Akram was different..... He is different guy now though bcuz he has earned lot of money in INDIA since his retirement . He is best pakistani cricketer no doubt

Great guy...was just looking through some old videos. This was a great episode. I remembered their chemistry

When I saw Wasim for the first time on Kapil Sharma Show, I thought he was so funny. He was sharing old stories in Punjabi and he was so sincere.

I think this interview was taken in 1999. Waseem had great respect in India when India vs Pakistan rivalry was peak at 1990s when Pakistan was winning more games against India. Moreover, he did not irritate Indian fans on ground like Javed Miandad, Amir Sohail, Aktar or Afridi .

Not a Pakistani - but what has happened to the quality of Pakistani Cricketers and their wives. Look here- so distinguished and educated and where they want can be religious. But nowadays everyone is Uber religious in the team. They can’t string a word or sentence together. Funnily enough the 80s and 90s Pakistan team was amazing.

Not after Rahul and saurabh debut . India has tradition to rely on one players . In sachin era indian were dependent on sachin. During 2003- 2007 indian team was dependent on Dravid . 2007 to 2011 yuvraj and now on kohli

Huma Wasim Death The family took the patient without the permission of the primary hospital doctors. They didn't communicate with the receiving hospital at Singapore who could guide them how to transfer the patient. Helicopter was a ESPN sports channel's heli which was meant to transfer healthy people (sportsmen), it wasn't a proper medical ambulance. And the worst of it, the helicopter's pilot refused to fly the heli in the night and waited for the day. So the patient's family waited at the lahore Airport to for 10 hours without any qualified doctor and any medical care. Because the the helicopter wasn't a proper medical ambulance, so it didn't had a pressurised cabin which is needed for patients. So at a high altitude, patient started having breathing problem, no qualified Dr was on the heli, they couldn't manage her airway and tube. They had to land in India (chennai) for emergency where also it wasn't planned before. Actually it was a gross mismanagement by the family of the patient who didn't care of her patient and blamed the doctors in Pakistan. So unfortunate for the medical profession that the qualified doctors were blamed of the charges they didn't think of. RIP Huma
