how relevant and sensible questions by the host and thoughtful and insightful answers by tabu and i would say this is sheer epitome of a good conversation or should i say this is 101 lesson on how an interview should be conducted nothing flashy or fake about both the host and the guest and i think the younger generation who are trying to be hosts or conductors of interviews and debates should take lessons from Simi Garewal, this is my honest opinion the way she does not intervene and how much time and space she gives the guest to speak out freely without any inhibitions is just awesome that makes the guest comfortable and they speak their mind without holding anything back-just awesome.

SimiGarewalOfficial simiji u have a very great quality u give such a comfortable vibe that the interviewee opens up and responds to questions they would normally side step It becimes as if they have forgitten about the cameras U make them believe that their life story is a journey which many of them jist realise being with u

She is so shy and down-to-earth. You don't see that often when someone is as gifted as she is. Thank you for this lovely rendezvous.

She is so soft-spoken yet amazingly articulate and honest! She didn't stutter once when she was to spit facts. Also unlike many of her peers, she didn't try to make her response sound embellished and phony. Quite authentic and unassuming.

I was introduced to Indian cinema by Tabu, with Drishyam and I thought everything was wonderful! Then I started watching everything I had from India on Netflix, especially with Tabu!I watched Chandni Bar and others on youtube, but I don't know Hindi. I would like everyone to have subtitles in English, German or Portuguese! Maybe one day I'll be able to see them all subtitled! Even some who have dance, I like it! Hugs, from Germany

U should watch Maqbool, the Namesake, Hu tu tu as well. You'll love her in all those forms and she's completely different in all the three.

She is very intelligent and observant and self aware. She knows her own mind, her own pace and her own lane. You can't rush her or confuse her. Love her grace. She is beautiful n intense n yet so simple n uncomplicated. I can see why she is single. Who can deal with someone so uncomplicated. Yet I suspect she has her layers. How else can she be such a nuanced actor. She always gets observed without being flashy! I loved her in Andhadhund.

Believe me she has layers. And believe it that you'll never know. Even if u stay with her.

Tabu talks about a very important thing. That the pretense of one's niceness is important to not detriment one's future prospects. I am glad that she has risen over it. She has it in her.

A pearl from Hyderabad, definition of elegance

Both the ladies look so amazing. Epitome of grace, humility and good cinema. It's so surreal to watch such shows that have all the restrain and none of the cheap gimmicks of today. The rendezvous literally set the stage of many many me toos and spawned a whole generation of interviewers. Some came close but none could capture the range of guests that Simi managed on her show. Really miss her voice in today's cacophony of desperate noises all around.

Watching in 2024 because I got introduced to Tabu recently. And omg what a woman ! The only regret is why I couldn’t discover this gem of a person/performer before. She is an inspiration to anyone, she is a woman who def knows her worth and understands herself deeply. No amount of words can truly describe the artist and the performer she is. She has achieved a lot while going through so much. Wish she speaks more in interviews. Also I miss such interviews where the conversation flows so naturally and beautifully with equal amount of respect along with the right questions. Simi’s show is always a delight to watch across generations.

First time heard her, always liked her and her work. She really makes so much sense.

You are very good Simi. At times one could almost notice, people being slightly disarmed at the ease with which you would ask probing questions which they normally would just not respond to.

I sometimes feel tht she has good listening ..observing and understanding skills like a counselor does...she shows emotions of empathy..unconditional positve regard and let the client speak without probing them much and self reflecting their answers and deep emotions 💕💕💕💕
