Hi Jimmy ,thanks for the reviews on the mot 4. Unfortunately the turbo has blown in my car so can't get one just yet😢 . I am surprised that it doesn't have the high end features it's priced for, compared to the k10 etc. But you do get uk support & back up. Maybe this is something you could relay back to launch. check his vids on transits then, also 2.0 transits have wet belts that need careful maintenence, check vids on that too. its a minefield

hi i purchased the otofix pro but unlike the scanners you have it does not show the Topology Mapping which wasa huge let down, so if possible could you explain the mapping and if possible show one from a 2009 bmw x5 35d, big ask i know, love you content and the learning curve you have been kind enought to walk me thru, your a star fella, my thumbs up on every one of your tutorials..All the best for 2024 ...ian

@7.28 It's a mare to get Turbo/DPF cleaner sprayed up the air pipe when the mass air flow sensor is screwed to the air filter box, would of made more sense to have that MAF sensor on the pipe so the airbox pipe could be disconnected with the engine running for cleaning. Its still possible but you have to hover the air pipe close to the air box & spray inside, or remove the air filter lid and spray down the pipe,making sure the MAF sensor doesnt get saturated in cleaner if using disposable aerosol cans especially.

Did you calibrate the new sensor? Still amazes me the amount of useless garages around

No need for, I don't think you have this option, if you refer to exhaust pressure sensor.

Hi Jimmy. I have a Trafic 2 and have recently fitted an obd2 dongle. Was hoping you could advise me on what might be the best instruments/readings to monitor so I can try and prevent any major issues?

I need to educate your about cylinder numbers on renault! Number 1 is normally at gearbox end on renault but not on R9M 1.6 or M9R 2.0 number 1 is at timing chain end, The reason for this is these engines are nissan derived so have normal cylinder order. Only the older pre 2006 1.9 and 2.5 have number 1 at flywheel.

In people's experience is "injector no2 computer supply voltage" dead injector or a wiring fault?

If I do that to my DPF filter how long will the anti pollution sign stay off for? Only had an MOT in Jan and it came back on in April 😔

My traffic seems to be over fueling, mpg down to mid twentys and strong fumes smell from the exhaust into the kabin. No fault lights or check polution message. The egr cooler had split on the back of the engine which is now fixed. Garage states no fault or codes, any ideas. Unfortunately I am no where near you to arrange a visit.

I just had clio serviced. On friday whilst car at rest but engine running. 4 times i got check ignition system on led display; car shuddered and revs went up then down and error disapeared. Green flag put diagnostic tool in port but no faults recorded. Drove back not seen failt again but mpg is low 30mpg. Any ideas wgat it might be is it coils; fuel inhector, MAP, Battery

hiya Jimmy - Daughter has P0096 DTC error code, orange spanner light and engine light 'check injection ' check anti pollution 1.5 Dci 90HP 2017 Clio 4 and P0096 says IAT2 sensor. Changed MAF which has 4pins and a IAT built in , cleared but message came back next day. Pressure boost MAP has no IAT built in its just a pressure sensor 3 pin Any idea where another IAT sensor (IAT2) could be on this engine please? cant find it. Andy. Sligo, Ireland.

I've got a Fiat Talento 70 reg 170 bhp van, similar to this van. I have Engine Failure Hazard sign up. The garage says it is a replacement turbo but I have no fall in power, no mechanical noise showing turbo failure, also a clean tail pipe with no obvious emmissions that shouldn't be there. Does the Turbo need replacing or is it more likely to be a sensor or something. In other words am I being ripped off ? The garage is a main dealer charging £130 per hour labour and wants £3500 approx including spare parts and Labour to fix it ? The van has only done 17k miles even now.

🤣🤣🤣 Renault traffic owners club have now found out Jimmy O;Riley is the go to guy for any DPF/engine faults.

The fault for the speed limiter/cruise control is usually the buttons on the steering wheel

Jimmy once again your the Top vivaro/Traffic guy. I have had all these problems with my van but I am in Glasgow or I would bring ma van to you but I bought Launch diagnostic like you and fixed.Can you explain about most of the vivaro/traffics you do all have low water in header tank......is this normal for these vans or have you ever sourced out why they lose water?
