LOVE these cars. 2l., N/A, light, very good cornering speed, very good brakes....it's the perfect car to enjoy driving by a narrow road. And don't need another song than the exhaust savage theme....good test!!!!😉😉😉

Actually, it’s mainly induction noise.
Its a relic now, because renault is stopping production of RS models, its such a shame there are NO such cars anymore, i had the best days with those original hothatches.

Yup, Renaultsport is merged with Alpine and Alpine will become a fully electric brand, so these are a thing of the past, no more fun to drive, manual hot-hatches from Renault, the current Mégane RS is most likely their last hot-hatch

Just be careful because the short wheelbase makes it a bit tricky when you want to go full on on corners

Miss my old 172. With a modified exhaust system it went 235km/u on the klok. German cars didn’t want to let the little France car pass. It’s a German thing i guess..

@@AndresV0182 The 182 Throphy isn’t lighter, it’s also 1090KG. Difference is the color, decals, and very expensive suspension that makes it that little extra special.

@@35dd actually the mk 2 of 2005 and 2006 were registered with a maximum curb weight of 1090 kg but the mk 2 of 2003-2004 were registered with a curb weight of 955 kg.

@@AndresV0182 acá en México los Clio Sport 182 los hayas en promedio en $4,500-5000USD en buenas condiciones. Los que están en $10,000USD están modificados en motor, suspensión y frenos.

I really don't like European cars (as a german citizen...) and especially french and italian cars... tho I really like the sleeper potential of the car. If I would it for a really low price and in good condition, I might consider a buy.

This clio rs2 172hp make on dyno 160hp not more....a good clio rs2 with 172hp it's 230km/h on vmax.

nah. Even the 180ps version has a vmax of 222. It doesnt reach 230kmh gps.

215 km/h Pour 172 CH din mdrrr ces merguez ces clio 16V rs !!! ca hurle mais c'est tout... Avec une bonne Supercinq GT turbo des 90's 220 compteur et seulement 120 CH et a 5500 TR/MN donc mécanique logiquement moins sollicitée donc moins usée.. vive les turbos !!!!
