Love it. And would love to have one now. I had the Renault Grand Espace 3.0l automatic new in the year 2000. Loved it too. No one does cars like the French.

Never understood why they don't make these anymore
that car is mind blowingly non US. 3850 lbs for that? the weight bloat would certainly make it at home in the US.
Shame no one drives these cars properly 😕 it only wafts along because you drive it like that...and you have read previous road tests...First put your foot down hard it kicksdown...then really press foot to the floor and it kicks down again..!!! Hold on coz that's when 24v variable valve timing comes in!!! THEN the gear lever can be moved over to the left..and you select manual...with sequential shifting and it goes like a rocket..SANDY BURNETT will solve any of your problems..I've had mine 3 years and love it's performance..space..brakes.and of cause the magic button...

Obviously don't select manual at full revs..and gearbox changes down automatically even in manual mode....I searched for a manual but now glad I purchased the auto..3.0v6 it does everything...and to think people like Clarkson get paid for road tests but don't do their homework..
