It's incredible !!! Bravo! I have the same E Tech model, but I can't manage in the current conditions (2000 km trip and temperature 10 degrees Celsius to get a consumption better than 6 l / 100 km in urban regime.
Awesome results!
Brilliant, amazing mpg 👍👍. I am looking to get one.
Hello there, superb result.. Mine the same as mentioned before. 3500km driven so far, avg consumption 6,2l/100km and impossible to reduce further. Using B-mode in city, D-mode outside. Temp between 0-8 Celsius, winter tyres

You use D for flat and B for hills

you can reduce consumption when weather is hot

isn't the B mode for braking with ICE?
Great result. I have the Rs line version. With only 2 months and 2200 kms only, my avg consumption is 5,1l. I leave in Portugal and the temp is 16 celsius in winter. Lets see in the summer..

(ola!) ;D I all so live in Portugal , what was your avg fuel consumption in the summer with the a/c on ?
Hello, can you make the same test on a Ford Puma please?
Thanks for all the hard work, very interesting.
Toyota chr 1.8 hybrid or arkana 145 hybrid which is more fuel efficient combined?

B mode is a engine brake that when you get used to it you dont need to use traditional brake
Do you maybe know numbers for micro hybrid version TCe 160ks?

Unfortunately, I did not test such version of this car.
Also, do you recommend this engine a 40% urban driving, 60% extra urban driving? Seeing your results from the fuel comparison (i think it is in the other arkana fuel consumption video) between similar models t-roc (150hp) should have a better fuel economy for extra-urban drives and i am thinking to cancel my e-tech order. :(

The difference in extra urban is not very big. IMO it should not be the case. When these consumptions are quite similar (extra-urban) I will choose faster, more comfort car for me. Of course I would take into consideration consumption in a city.

Yeah, you are right. unfortunately arkana is not that powerful. I will try to find some alternatives to arkana, maybe the 1.3l 160 hp would be a better fit. Thank you!
Has the fact of the different sizes of gallons in the UK and US been taken into account?

Do you see the difference between mpg UK compared to mpg US? :)
Nice MPG but ... I wonder what will so many engine on/off do to it after 50-100kkm.

@@1001cars No! I have a 2002 Prius, runs perfectly after 200,000+ kms.
Hello all, I'm looking at getting one If these I do around 20miles a day, and it's I'm town, works I just only ever use the electric motor and no fuel in b mode ?

I am not sure if I understood you properly. It is normal hybrid (not plug-in hybrid) so, you will always use some amount of fuel, even on short distances.

@@1001cars thanks:) I wasn't sure how far you could go in b mode in it, as I only do short drives around town at 2 or 3 miles at a time, the way I understood this video was the the engine wasn't kicking in

@@bonaray watch the video carefully :) Final time of the trip with combustion engine off is the sum of every piece of drive with combustion engine off. It does not mean that you can drive in electric mode for 3 or 4 miles in a row

Hi. Do you mean that the real fuel consumption is 5.2l?
@1001cars

Why 5.2? The result from city driving is 4.2 l/100 km

@@1001cars you wrote in description that you have checked at the end, the real consumption at fuel pump and you discovered that board computer shows 1% less than the real one. Now i am not sure if 1% difference means 1l per 100 (4.2/100+1/100=5.2/100) or 1% error (like 0.01x4.2l=4.242l). How that my question is more clear this time.

@@andreialexandrescu7089 1% means 1%, 1 out of 100%, where 100% is in that case 4,2 l/100 km

@@1001cars oh ok. I Asked because other KZreadrs use percent as a abbreviation for “l/100”. So for a 8l/100 they just write 8%. Thank you for clarification!
