    And thats on the stickiest tyres available for a ev and 19inch wheels. With the eco hankook evo s3 on 18 inch you will likely match the model 3 efficiency. Or at the very least be very close to it.

    This car was designed for long range driving as a competition for german limousines. It offers very good comfort with great fuel consumption (constant GPS 140 km/h around 7L/100km) Some will say that this is a bit more than diesel but since it is a hybrid it doesn't choke in the city. Reliability is another factor.

    Hi, Am I correct in seeing that you use Google Maps for navigation, and it also displays the navigation on the head-up display? I have an X-Trail, also with ePower, and it only shows the navigation on the HUD if I use the built-in navigation system. If I use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, it doesn't allow it to be displayed. Moreover, if either of these is running, the built-in navigation also stops working.

    This engine is good, it only had a major big problem wich is it's relation between price/efficiency. It realy is a nice drive, it realy is powerfull, it realy is eficient in the fuel consumption, but its asking price inicial investiment is way too high. It's simply not worth it to pay € 5.000 extra for this version and then "save up" a few euros 4-5 years later each month. If you buy this car for it's asking price you need to know you are not paying for cost-savings, you are paying for the extra HorsePower and it's electric feeling driving. For example in my country the diference in financing this version and its mild-hybrid version, it's around an extra € 60,00/month. You will save up at most around € 15-€20 in the E-power fuel costs so it's simply not worth it from a cost-saving perspective.

  • @blippie
    @blippie10 күн бұрын

    Here in the Netherlands there hardly is a price difference between e-power and the mild hybrid. Easy choice then? Yes and no. The Qashqai e-power's tow capability is rubbish and no awd available so this means one is forced to buy the much more expensive Xtrail e-force. For exactly this reason i have chosen the mild hybrid as it can be offered with awd and can tow up to 1800kgs. When my Qashqai was serviced at the dealership i was given an e-power for the day. I wasn't disappointed, but my mild hybrid awd surprisingly didn't feel any slower even though it is.

  • @adomingues00
    @adomingues009 күн бұрын

    @@blippie I quite enjoy my mild hybrid 140Cv tbh. It drinks a little too much fuel in city driving, but that is expected for a petrol SUV. I did use an E-power for a few days as a service car and i enjoyed it aswell, but quite frankly i think I am what the internet calls as a "petrol head". I missed the manual shifting and engine revs so i'm happy with my mild hybrid. Just out of curiosity if you have time to answer, why is it that the E-power tow capability is rubbish if it has more torque than the mild-hybrid ? is it just the lack of AWD ? i thought the electric motors had much more towing capacity due to more torque. thanks.

  • @blippie
    @blippie9 күн бұрын

    @@adomingues00 the towing capability of the Qashqai e-power with fwd is only 750kgs while that from the 158bhp xtronic is 1800kgs for both fwd and awd. So in case you have a big caravan or want to tow a (sail)boat for example the Qashqai e-power is no option or only a limited one. The Xtrail e-power e-force with awd has a towing capability of 1800kgs as well. But this is a bigger car and a way more expensive option.
