@@rolypoly4920 No, all kills done by berserk enemies goes towards Renata. As far as Penta's go I don't see Renata getting any in her current state. Towers also do not aggro berserk teammates. They are still enemies and attack anyone nearby preferring other champs.

Do renata swain double pull bot lane with heiz. That'd be hype.

I considered this earlier today. Build her magic on-hit to proc passive, play her top like some people do with Lulu. Use ult on huge enemy waves for massive lane pressure on the enemy, its an ez-cheezy win.

Renata supp with Ori ADC seems a team fights nightmare

Btw. The ult did say nearby units with priority on their own team. But this does mean if they are out of auto range of their teammates they can attack you with a double attack speed buff just fine. Plus the ult doesn’t mess up their pathing at all so it’s not to hard far melee champs to just move out of range if their teammates. So it not that broken. Looks interesting.

@Simone Noli Meh. Her ult would work best in combo with non stunning abilities. Imagine a veigar cage or j4 ulti on multiple people with thus rolling through. They can't auto if they are stunned. So you likely waste a lot of the potential on overlapped time where they are still stunned before they can hit their teammates. Especially since the duration on it is so low

At 8:18 it did hit, and effect Leona. The duration is so low though she only hit the enemy Kayn once after she jumped on you. You can see her step to the right and auto Kayn after she jumped on you. MF flashed it though so it didn't effect her. Her ult seems to be much more useful in big team fights when everyone's grouped in a small area. It's pretty much useless most times in small skirmishes at low level.

The ap ratio is so bad its like .05% of ap. So you add only 1 or 2 % more attack and move speed.

So the revived person needs to get a kill or an assist, they can't just walk away without doing anything, they still die

You absolutely have to try her with other team ults like Seraphine, Fiddlesticks, Kennen, etc. I can see it working really well with any of those champs since it's so slow. Alternatively, you could play from behind their team and disrupt them with r, forcing them into a fight.

If its timed right the new champs R hits after the cc. So they get cc chained essentially but the second part of the chain causes the enemy team to start hitting each other. In theory its not a bad idea since the mist or whatever that is moves so slowly.

The visual design of the champion, and maybe the visual of the abilities, i can agree with... but the muchbof the kit is a weird rehash of some older (existing and nonexisting) things, a brand new mechanic that basically NEEDS to be undertuned to oblivion because it could otherwise easily be ridiculously broken. Berserk would be nice on say.... Ahri if her E was made so you can recast it to get the bonus damage her E used to have by double charming the same target, or charming a different target causing them to go berserk at each other.

I think it's the opposite. It's badly designed and overloaded. She'll just be a nightmare to balance overall in the future across all ranks and that's even ignoring the idea of balancing for fun with her. She just does too much to the point where she'll be permanently underwhelming and inconsistent or she'll be too strong. U can already see the creaks in her design in how they tried to balance her so far. As things change in the future I dont see her being in a good place.

sort of, varus %max health damage is only when he hits an ability when they have blight stacks. he gets flat magic damage on autos

Ya it seems it forces them to auto anyone in range so melee champions can just walk away from their team. But luckily most carries that can slaughter a team are ranged, like MF and Vayne.

@@martinc9510 True, but the flat damage increase is pretty high (remember, two procs) to help with picks, which is what catchers do. I agree ,though, that E max is probably better for most lanes and a seemingly undervalued ability. It does a lot for one ability with two AoEs.

Darius had merc treads and I presume because of the short time it effects the enemy the mercs just caused darius a ping delay

Renata's ult works like this. A raged champion will target the closest enemy or allied champion. It's as simple as that they can still go after your allies it just removes the boundary between ally and enemy. They attack anyone

At 2:35 I heard the music from Yu-Gi-Oh, duelist of the roses. That game was my childhood, I love it

I'd love to see Renata with Lethality MF. It would be impossible to avoid MF's Q bounce if Renata yoinks a half hp minion at them.

I think her ult is a recoded version of Namis ult, at least for the skillhot itself. I think she wont be incredibly broken, as long as her team doesnt have a fed hypercarry. But the theme around her, using other champions to do the work for you is coming through really nice. I like her.

Her AP ratios may be under tuned since the revive, I'm sure she will be retuned within a month or 2.

The support main cried when zwag sold biscuits. It doesn’t matter what lane you’re in, if you have biscuits for the love of god please just use them! It gives you max mana so you lose more by selling, hence why a lot of people take them early game

Character design wise, renata is absolutely insane. It makes zeris release so life and soulless because renata is genuinely a sick lore and visual addition

I have a feeling that her with ZERI and JINX will be amazing.

Gonna have to increase that R to 3 seconds for her to be worth a damn. Or 2 sec R with more damage added to E or Q.

I think she might be good in that strategy when you go an enchanter top with smite and just perma roam, but mid, think that might be fun

They shouldve made it so that her ulti makes everyone an enemy but the player still has control over themselves, meaning they can damage their own team and target them and to compensate remove the attack speed and make it last longer. Imagine a well timed r while a kat is r’ing and she kills her entire team

13:34 revive goes off to counter darius ult that's nuts. and vayne gets the takedown to stay alive.

While most of her abilities are really cool individually, I'm struggling to see a large amount of synergy here. The Sylas in this game was able to get a lot more mileage out of the ult than she was, not just because of better target selection, but because Sylas can actually capitalize off of the chaos, which Renata really can't. I think she has a lot of potential, but her abilities just don't really feel super cohesive, and due to her ability restrictions I can't see her being very popular in comparison to other supports.

I can see it as a way to counterpick a yi or something while still being a support, like if your jng has a bad matchup against yi you can as as support help counterthat, the ult has a ton of possibility as a way to fuck with objective control

@@goranpersson7726 I never said that the ult was bad or unusable, just that it doesn't have any specific synergy with her other abilities and that it comes with heavy restrictions that can make it either totally inconsequential or actively punishing if used at the wrong time or in the wrong situation. Yes the ult has the potential to win a team fight, but so does Sona, Seraphine, and Yuumi's ults, and those ones also deal damage, are easier to use, are usable against single opponents and don't have the potential to wipe your entire team.

@@OperatorError0919 that's probably going to be the reason why she's a support. If she had too strong synergy in her spells then she'd be self sufficient and therefore in a solo lane. Her cooldowns are high but she can make plays when she needs to, which is perfect for support. Also the ability to delay a reset with her w is going to be very disruptive for champs like katarina, yi and pyke

@@wthai85 Having ability senergy has nothing to do with being self sufficient. Just look at Thresh. All of Thesh's abilities flow into each other. People love his design because his kit is so cohesive. Nami is another great example. Sona, Janna, Leona, etc are all supports with great interactions between their abilities. None of Renata's abilities flow into each other in the same way. It feels like all of her abilties were designed in a vacuum without any regard for how they function in tandem.

@@fartalone3142 idk, it travels so slowly that size doesn't matter, like a 1.5s stun is a lot, but 1.5s of attacks feel underwhelming, especially since the ult does no damage itself; like Seraphine, Sona and Yuumi's ult do damage with their respective cc and travel a little faster (Seraphine's at least travels further).

Arksan : resurrect you after you die Renata : "Go resurrect yourself ! I'm not gonna do it "

Good visual design but super underwhelming kit. I had to laugh at everyone in the game talking about how good the pull is when it's the most pathetic pull I've ever seen. No way is she going to be "the new Lulu". Lulu's kit is better in every single way. Her shield is bigger, her move speed buff is better, her Q is a better slow and her ult is basically a better version of the revive, because it's extra health except you get a knock up and don't have to get a kill or die afterwards. Literally the only thing Renata does that Lulu can't do better is the ult, but that seems kind of underwhelming anyway. You'd be better off with a Sona ult or Nami wave.

Part of why she looks lackluster is bad play. First thing I noticed was that Q should be maxed last. All it gains from leveling it is +45 damage. The cd doesn't go down. He also never used the recast to throw minions into champs to stun them. I'm betting that it'll be a huge part of her lane since people won't allow her to hook them. Her E should definitely be maxed first. Lowers the cd while increasing the damage and shield. Maxing it last basically made it useless all game. The build also seemed wrong. Seems like you'd rather get a tanky cdr build with some movespeed so you can front line reliably. Shurelyas would make more sense as her mythic. Q is short range, passive works on autos, and her R is slow af so you need to be able to get kind of close. She's definitely not a sit all the way in the back enchanter like lulu, janna, or raka.

I feel like if you build attack speed on her it would make her a little better paired up with an attack speed focused marksman would definitely shred the enemy, but then again her kit is really underwhelming so if people are going to use her they should abuse her passive

I think a veigar renata would be nice. have them fight in veigar's cage.

Nashors tooth is almost certainly a very good item for her because attack speed to apply passive more and 100 AP also gives it 1% more on both procs

Nashor's costs way too much if you are support and by the time you build it the laning phase (where her passive shine) would be over

I can see Renata being a cruel counter to Trynd

the Ult turns everything that's an enemy, like Tibbers, Shaco Boxes, Yorricks Ghouls and Ult and so on it would be interesting to see her in All for One or whatever the mode with 5 times the same Champ was called, I would like to know if the passive would proc and reapply by alternating attacks/spells with your Lane-mates

Zwag you should definitely try this with Heiz playing Sion. Immagine if the revive also works with Sion passive, it would make him op. The combo should be: Sion dies, Sion passive, when Sion passive is about to end use W, so he gets another Passive and if he gets a kill he goes back to 35% Healt. Idk if it works but I think it’s worth a try

I wonder if the ult will trigger certain passives like, twitch passive or darius passive. That ult depending on a scenario, can be super op or just meh.

Day 51 of three fun builds for you: In support lane run Exhaust Sona, with guardian, shield bash, bone plating, revitalize, manaflow and gathering, items are lich bane, crown mythic, spirit Visage, archangels, and mebbe swap out support item for deathcap endgame Also support but big slow build: glacial braum, with a frostfire gauntlet. Double slow fields, maybe with a demonic to add to burn. Top lane or support: max health Tahm Kench, with Fimbulwinter. Don't think you've done too many fimbulwinter videos yet, that might be one of the better uses of it.

Zwag: She has a gun but I don't think she uses it Renata: I guess my autoattacks don't exist

Okay from the creator of Big Bonk Ornn comes another idea of great power. Day 38 Maximum Maximum pen Trundle, this build will focus on building as much penetration as possible to completely ignore enemy resistances Runes: Standard Trundle Runes nothing special, although I recommend fitting in conditioning and overgrowth as they will increase how much armour you have from stealing (not how much you steal simply how much you have) Items: Divine sunderer Passive can give you up to 20% pen at 5 items 25% at 6 - Black cleaver gives you 30% armour reduction - Serylda's or LDR give you 30-35% armour pen - Sorc shoes for 18 flat magic pen - Voidstaff for 45% magic pen and maybe something tanky for your 5th item How it comes together? we all know that Trundle Ult steals 40% armour and Mr from the target so lets do 2 calculations here, first is the MR (1-0.40)X(1-0.45)X(1-0.20) = 26.4% MR remaining = 73.6% Magic Reduction/Pen at full build with Ult + 18 Flat pen from the shoes, Next I shall cover Armour with Serylda's and then LDR (1-0.40)x(1-0.30)x(1-0.30)x(1-0.20) = 23.52% armour remaining = 76.48% armour Reduction/Pen at full build with Ult and Serylda's (1-0.40)x(1-0.30)x(1-0.35)x(1-0.20) = 21.84% armour remaining = 78.16% armour reduction/ pen at full build with Ult and LDR This will let you blow up any target you use your ult on and still destroy others with relative ease

For the first ult, Leona was mid E, no enemy targets in melee range, Kayn wasn't hit by the ult and MF flashed over the wave.

Since it says Takedown and not Kill, and going off the fight at 13:40 they don't need to kill they just need to participate in a kill before the time runs out, to be revived. And also since it just says Takedown does that also apply if the kill say dragon or baron since they show up in the kill feed?

i recently got renata and shes a blast, im sure youve learned it now but for those who dont know, if you use W on yourself and you died you do revive as well you just need to get a kill or you die anyway, just like if you use it on an ally

If you grab someone and toss against an ally it will stun them. Kinda like Sett.

The first time you used the ultimate, it didn't do anything because Leona was e'ing through the ulti and MF flashed over it. I'm assuming each puff of smoke is a separate hitbox as it travels. Essentially making it a wide ass slow moving projectile. Would be nice to know if Yasuo windwall can block it. It seems pretty underwhelming early on since it has no base damage. It relies on the damage from the enemies which isn't going to be much early game lol. Her ulti really shines late game when all the carries have their items. "Renata the only champion that WANTS a fed carry" lmao.

She being focused on utility is very cool, a team player kind of champion that benefits the game. Also, her low ranges and high cooldown makes playing with her a careful task. Very balanced

At 19:06 I saw a weird interaction. Sylus ulted the Neeko that was disguised as vayne and got vayne ult.

her ult seems incredibly strong. imagine dragon fights even just hitting 2 people would cause quite a bit off cc etc. W is pretty nutty (obviously) and q hook can be decent.

While I don't like evil themes, I most certainly love her playstyle. I can't wait to try her.

the hitbox on her Q seems to be quite a bit smaller than the actual graphic, saw quite a few hooks where the graphic looked like it connected but it made no contact

I think her E like a lux shield two where she stands and where it lands so if used on top of you would you get 2 amounts of shields?
