I absolutely love Renamon. She’s my most favorite digimon/digimon line period (Tamer’s being my most favorite season of digimon. Wish we’d get a remake or a continuation of the series honestly) & I ADORE the Japanese culture so these folklore stories are what I live for. Would love to visit Japan & study them ❤️😊

Renamon is my favorite digimon too, with Tamers being my favorite Digi series. But I do feel that even though I love all 3 rookies and their champion forms, their Ultimate and Mega forms throw me off.

I like the fact the dark variant isn't necessarily evil which shows growing beyond a preconceived role has that Blackwargraymon feel to it.

I love Renamon, and the way you went into great detail about explaining the cultural and mythological significance of the line’s techniques was amazing.

That's because the kitsune, which this Digimon is based on, is deeply connected to Japanese mythology, as are the onmyoji inspired forms used for the ultimate and mega levels (or perfect and ultimate, if you use the Japanese terms)

Thank you for putting the soul back into Renamon. I may have grown out of it, but I will always remember her the way I did as a fan. Appreciate the in-depth exploration of her origins.

Renemon is supposed to have a design that's neither male or female? Rule 34 artists females the shit out of Renamon. Except for Agonami.

I really love Renamon. Out of the 3 tamers at the start, I feel Rika and Renamon had the strongest character development by the time they had to fight the Devas. I also wish when Renamon was finally able to digivolve to mega, they had given Sakuyamon a 3D animation like they had given the other two.

I love the matrix evolution of this digimom, I think the animation its outstanding and ahead of its time.

Digimon Tamers and Frontier will always have a special place in my heart. Its too bad that I had missed Adventures during my childhood but Im glad Tamers and Frontier have been there.

The amount of depth and research that is put into your videos is very historically accurate and further gives credibility to the Digimon Universe. 10/10!

Even though I started with digimon adventure in the late 90's, kyuubimon is my favourite digimon of all time, love the whole line.

Renamon is definitely one of my favorite Digimon, top 5 for sure.

Probably one of the best designed lines. Each form is beautiful in their own way.

I've often said this, and I will say this again: Renamon evolution line in general, and Sakuyamon specifically, is the best designed Digimon ever to this day.

That's 1 of my favorite Digimons as a kid I used to draw her more so Kyubimon she was an inspiration for my drawings along with other's. Awesome video man bring back great childhood memories.🙌🙏

Sakuyamon: Miko Mode is essentially Renamon having achieved the full potential of their beauty. I also very much like Sakuyamon and Renamon succeeds at being quite memorable.

What video game is some of the footage from? Been looking for something new to play recently and this nostalgia is hitting me hard.

So despite blue being the primary color, Youkomon, Doumon, & Kuzuhamon are effectively the Black repaints of Kyuubimon, Taomon, & Sakuyamon. Nice!! But the X-Antibody variant of Renamon and her main evos...I typically think that like 99% of the X-Antibodies suck, but this changes my mind hard!! Sakuyamon X is absosmurfinlutely GORGEOUS!! 😍😍😍😍😍 Sakuyamon Miko Mode...uhh...okaaay...silver hair aside, this gives major vibes of Kikyo from Inuyasha or Tomoe from Queen's Blade: unabashedly sexy and undoubtedly badass. Kuzuhamon Miko Mode literally falls flat here, because this is literally a "player 2" type color scheme...she deserves better than that. Given how much has changed and been added since Tamers, I think that I may have to reconsider my custom Renamon setup from Digimon World 3 on PSone. Sucks you couldn't color edit, because the color scheme in my head canon for one particular evolution makes more sense. Check it: Renamon > Kyuubimon > Angewomon > Sakuyamon. The color changes are that: my Angewomon's outfit is yellow where the normal is white, purple where the normal is pink (a nod to both Taomon & Sakuyamon), silver hair like Sakuyamon instead of blonde...and one critical change that carries over to my Sakuyamon: she's brown skinned.
