Chinchilla is an amazing singer, check out her solo work, "Fingers" ( live version), "Little Girl Gone", etc..Ren claims Chinchilla is his vocal sibling. This song was written about Ren's friend Joe and this video was shot on the bridge Joe jumped from, will bring tears to anyone; a huge NYC hug for you Red.

Another beautiful reaction. Regarding "How to Be Me," Ren's best friend, Joe Hughes, committed suicide on the 27th of December, 2010 by jumping off the Menai Bridge, a large suspension bridge connecting the mainland to the Isle of Anglesey where Ren and Joe lived. Ren alluded to it in one of his songs, stating that he lost his best friend before he was 25. The pain of this loss is evident in a few of his songs. "How to Be Me," "Freckled Angels," "Su!cIde," and his latest release, “For Joe,” are specifically dedicated to Joe. Some people have claimed that the video was shot at the bridge that Ren's friend jumped from, however, that is misinformation according to some local residents. Ren recently posted some background on his relationship with Joe and the tragic suicide. Ren explained that he got a call from his friend Ella around 3 am saying that Joe was on the Menai Bridge, He’d been on the phone with her in tears saying goodbye. He told her to tell everyone he loved them. Ren went out on foot attempting to get to Joe while trying to reach him on the phone. Just minutes before Ren got to the bridge, his friend's cell phone went out of service. The Coast Guard started a search to no avail. Ren, friends, and volunteers unsuccessfully searched the shoreline for ten days; Joe’s body was never recovered. Ren’s and Chinchilla’s live performance of "Chalk Outlines" is still my favorite song, partly because I can relate to it more given my daily struggles. Although, losing one’s best friend to suicide is also something I experienced when I was 19 y/o (almost 38 years ago). “How to Be Me” definitely runs a close second, though. I would recommend you check out their busking sessions in Brighton, performing “Sexual Healing” (Marvin Gaye cover) and “One Dance / Drunk In Love” (Drake/Beyoncé cover); those performances are of a much lighter mood and very enjoyable. I hope you will continue to dive into Ren's and Chinchilla's catalogs. Chinchilla is a rising star on the British music scene. She was a supporting act on Sting's 2019 European Arena tour and the opening act for the 2021 McFly tour. Chinchilla has also played some big European music festivals. Her songs "Cold Water" and "Shadows [Tails]" are beautiful, “FINGERS Live for HungerTV” is amazing, but her entire catalog is worth listening to, including her brand-new release, “Little Girl Gone;” she has a lyric video, an official music video, and a live version, “Little Girl Gone Live (Requiem),” which is my favorite rendition of the three.

@@JensRandolff I agree. The amount of men who feel this is the only way to stop their suffering is obscene. I know women also struggle, but it seems more socially acceptable for a woman to ask for help. That has to change. And veterans, oh what they endure.💕 Hugs.

Never be ashamed for your tears! Because there are many reasons for. It just shows, that you are human. Alone the beauty of their singing and harmonizing, absent from the content and emotions.... Tea and honey, wonderful! Suggest "Ocean" by Ren and "Watch out Live busking" by "The Big Push", an original, (take the version with 1,3 Million views) amazing experience, and if tears, maybe one or two of joy. ☀🌧🌈

Yes, half of my memories are triggered by poetry and music. I was an odd kid, loved the physical but ended up addicted to knowledge. I was that weirdo who played 15 sports a year, martial arts, athletics and every moment i wasn't physically working i was reading philosophy, poetry, dictionaries, greek and roman classics....

That’s amazing! I was a nerdy, shy, quiet kid. I loved learning. Athletic was not me. Lol I got into fitness as an adult.💕. We probably would have been friends.

@redheadedneighbor we absolutely would have been! I definitely needed them. I don't have much in the way of family, but my friends always meant the world to me, 1-3 real friends beat 1,000's of acquaintances. Now, I'm mostly just a lonely adult. I value human interaction soo highly, but at least here in New Zealand, it's hard to find a person I like and admire, so many people are closed-minded and "self" focused. I want the best for everyone, literally. So, I struggle a LOT with people like that, who are selfish and closed minded. The opposite is what attracted me to your channel. You strike me as a honest, genuine, open-minded, understanding, and kind human being. I feel like I'm watching these videos with a friend, rather than a "reactor/content creator" :) Which is half really lovely, and half really sad :/ I do apologize is that's "over sharing", it's just so nice to talk to someone worth talking to ❤️ Keep up being exceptional ☺️

I am still very fitness focused, but it's curbed by arthritis, so now I mostly swim, do calisthenics, knife throwing and just getting out and about. Walk through the forests or but the rivers, it's a nice way to clear my head and keep my body fit and conditioned :)

I don't drink alcohol or coffee, and without social media, I don't know how to meet people as a 30yo. I despise bars, clubs, ect... it doesn't leave many options :/ So thank you so much for engaging with a nobody on the other side of the world, I deeply appreciate it ❤️

So Ren literally discovered Chinchilla busking on the street and immediately saw her potential. So Ren took her under his wing and helped Chinchilla find her power and make music like "Little Girl Gone". These early duets, watch how Ren never breaks eye contact with her, like he's saying with his eyes, "you got this. fucking get it" and then she DOES. Ren is gonna be talked about. And the people he taught too.

I've been playing guitar professionally for Many Many years, and have learned I have Much More to learn from him, both Musically and Performance wise!!! Highly Recommend: Crutch, Hold On, Fire, Ready for You and Domino's at least! Yes they're older tracks! Trust the stranger on the interweb... Excellent songs! I dunno which videos you've seen but not reacted to, I see you've reacted to my least favorite Big Push songs -- not that I don't like them, just if I had to rank my favs, they'd be in the lower half. I recommend: The Big Push - Guns of Brixton and The Big Push - Paint It Black (from their red-suspenders busking session.) Any other song(s) - from "red suspenders busking session" Ren w/ Eden Nash - Humble The Big Push - Watch Out, or All My Heroes, or Radio, or any other original songs.

That changes who we are. I understand that completely. It’s strange how people will say that their “hearts died that day”. For me, it’s more like ..the entire world changed around me and I have to learn everything over again. I am so sorry for your loss. I’m sending tight hugs. Early Saturday morning, my 13 year old niece was struck by a car and died. The shock alone is enough to suck the oxygen from your lungs.
