Stream Violet's tale here: renmakesmusic.lnk.to/VioletsTale Here are the lyrics for anyone who wants them London City, far from pretty Two, zero, zero, five A lady down in Paddington Is fighting just to stay alive Rhythmic beeps and blood stained sheets Our lady weeps; she’s tired and frail To set the scene We must rewind the hands of time for violets tale Violet was a silent girl Grew up with violent starts Her mother was a drinker And her father was a bastard Every night he’d tuck her tight But never left the room Ill spare you of the things he did Im sure her mother knew Violet was a silent girl She moved out at sixteen A semi-detached council flat Paid for by a welfare-scheme Packing shelves at Tesco’s Stacking jars like pickled bricks She met a boy named Stevie And he was a little prick Violet was a silent girl And violet she fell fast See Stevie was a wrongun But he sure knew how to charm her Every night he’d tuck her tight But never left the room History repeats itself Hed paint her black and blue and ah… She never stood a chance The devil comes to dance “Violet, why you always so silent?” *knock knock knock* On her bedroom door and he’s irate He’s been drinking and smoking he’s up late And he stands by her bedside, she shakes But her eyes stay shut “You fucking slut! I know you’re up!” and he pinches her eyelids and folds them up “Violet, why you lying to me violet?” She stays silent, things turn violent *Knock knock knock* Thats the sound of his fists when they fall like a crashing pilot Hit like hailstones, one to the collar bone, full force, full blown, blood splat, bone crack, knick-knack-paddy-whack one to the jaw and a tooth spat - detached fist connects and disconnects the bone a quick deflect to misdirect the blow But non-the-less his punches met her throat such a mess; he’s left her bruised and broke “Violet!? Why you always so silent violet!? Why you such a little liar violet!? Do you think I want to do this Violet?!” In character she stays silent “Well say something Violet!” Silence “Fucking say something Violet!” Silence… “Wait… say something Violet” Not one word, she stays quiet…. London City, far from pretty two, zero, zero, five A lady rushed to paddington is fighting just to stay alive the doctor in a state of shock, saw something here so very wrong See Violet, she was pregnant, Poor violet, she was nine months gone Turning to the doctor Violet broke her silence and she cried, “If im to die right here tonight, please let my baby stay alive ” the doctor soon regained composure, called the surgeon to come in As violets world turned to black, the curtains closed The lights went dim in… London City, far from pretty, two zero zero five A lady down in paddington Just lost the fight to stay alive A tragedy, or miracle It happened on these very streets Two twins are lying side by side A girl named Jenny And a boy named Screech

even when he spends almost 40 seconds, with no beat or music at all, each and every word, plus the delivery, is on beat. Its pretty amazing being able to carry on the beat, like an internal clock, whilst acting out a scene. I'm not surprised though, as when you watch him play and rap, he doesn't even tap his foot to stay in time, like 95% of guitarists do, as he is full control. one of a kind artist,

I’m sorry about your wife. I’m mentally ill, and I lost my husband in 2012. I know what it’s like to have suicide as a constant companion. I have taken solace in Ren’s work as well. He sings and plays and all the rage and anguish calm down. I think we’ve found our patron saint.
For anyone wondering, the first subtitle translates to: "In death, as in life, we shall never part. We have grown to the voice of the same heart"
How is no one talking about how perfect he plays the guitar? This man is so freaking talented! 🤌🏼🎉
I thought this was an insanely creative music video until I noticed the lapel mic and realised it was actually a live performance. A mind blowing live performance.
i would've never guessed that this is a prequel to jenny's and screech's tale. the whole series is mind blowing to me, the way he changes his tone and emotion when singing different parts, the great storytelling, the guitar playing, the singing, the lyrics, the talent and its also very catchy. like not only is it great musically but you can just read the lyrics and be interested..i also love the sound effects he makes with the guitar like in the rewind part and all the knocking, and how you can feel the emotion just from the way he plays. hoping for richard's tale im wondering what his backstory is

So true
I am assuming that like many others, I am so emotionally, physically and spiritually moved by seeing and hearing Ren play his guitar, rapping and singing his truths that all i seem to be able to accomplish is weeping, nay violently sobbing selfishly for myself and for the greater picture of humanity and the ugly reality in the wake of it's existence on earth. My gratitude and admiration of this boy/man exceed everything I have ever known. A simple thank you, hug and kiss pale in comparison to the feelings he alone inspires.
I am blown away... and behind the times. I just, today, stumbled on your music. Wow. Thank you. I look forward to listening to the rest of your music.
Weirdest feeling I'm having when listening to his music. Not sure if I like it or not.... But damn... It hits hard.. It's like watching a one-man musical. It's the third time I hear this now. I find songs that evoke sadness in me is the only way sadness ever feels good. Sometimes it's therapeutic and even feels a little good to settle down into the sadness instead of trying to avoid it all the time. It's like a controlled burn so you don't lose the whole forest when there's a real fire. If I freefall into it by choice every so often, when life becomes sad I don't shatter into as many pieces.

Do not worrie, GOD IS ALWAYS ON TIME. And CHRIST shall return again . The only reason He haven't come yet, is because you are still unsaved, GOD calls you home also: 2 Peter 3:9chapter context similar meaning copy save The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. John 3:15chapter context similar meaning copy save That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Every time you worried and complain that GOD haven´t returned yet, ask these question from yourself; HAVEN'T I GOTTEN SAVED YET? DID I CAME TO REPENTANCE? Acts 17:30chapter context similar meaning copy save And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: The time is ticking, place your hand on your chest, on that side where your heart is, can you feel it, the pumping inside your chest? Can you hear you heart beating? - your heart, dear soul is the clock of your lifetime.

I've never grew to like an artist in such a small amount of time. This isn't my usual music I listen to. I'm a metalhead. I listened to hi ren first and Jesus I was hooked. You're talented in so many ways. Your voice, music, lyrics and how you feel your music is so raw and it's so hard to find.

the silence, then actual silence which fills you with realization is just insane. How he portrays such a scene so well is incredible and i have only suport and hope for him and the future.
I listen to this on loop, everything about this song is unique in its own way and I love it! The story is told in a way that keeps the listener curious for Violets tale but also in a way where the music brings you along for the story. Never will I find another artist as talented and creative as you
This is my first time hearing Ren. My goodness the amount of feels poured through all these lyrics and strings are amazing. KZread did it right for once.

The story, the music, and going into character really made you feel the sting of the story. First time I've seen something like this and the end brought me to tears. This is musical art at its finest. I love it
A lovely touch with the note at the start when the captions are on. Beautiful story telling with such talent with the guitar
It feels like he's a narrator in a musical I'm living for it This song was ,altho sad, a complete masterpiece
This is exactly what the music industry needs someone who brings back story telling into the music with a mordern twist.
insane guitar skills ren is amazing
I was so numb an couldnt feel anything then I found your song and now I am crying. This song has that essence of a human being which shows the hardships which are all being inserted to our lives but not being neglegable most of the time. Truly beautiful ❤
What the actual fuck…I’m speechless. And kinda (very) emotional 🥲 very tragic but also very real. So eerie yet beautifully written. Your best work yet, lyrically and cinematically, you can tell you put your heart and soul into this one. Bravo 👏👏👏👏 hoping this one gets the recognition it deserves.

I like to think that your definion of 'perfect' has been refined...all encompassing, without exception. Pure self love. You inspire me...❤
Ren, you my friend are a modern day bard! These songs you are creating hit hard and fast. They speak volumes! You packed so much story into just one song.
The way he uses the natural reverb in each environment/room/hallway/stairwell he walks through is well, genius.

Ren is like a visitor from another realm. He's obviously acquired lyrical skills and musical skills of a very high calibre (which immediately distinguishes him from 99% of the garbage that passes for popular music these days) so he immediately has a bed upon which to build his art. But most significantly...he's a spiritual thing of unique qualities. He breathes truth...and perhaps even magic...which I think is what so draws his audience.

You can’t just read the lyrics. You’ve got to hear the way he says them. Everything is spoken purposefully with emotion while maintaining a rhythm. It’s amazing. Great work
ren's acting skills are impressive; he's not only singning and telling a story to us, he's expressing it, the emotions are clear.. art is eveything.
It’s unreal how how this, Jenny’s take and screeches all tie in together. Ren is an absolute master!

I play guitar, and I am really blown away by this guy on so many levels. To be honest, as he was playing that line walking down the stairs, I was thinking to myself that I wasn't sure I could walk down stairs at the same time as playing those lines without falling down the steps. Ren isn't playing music. It's pouring through him, oozing out ... gushing out. He's breathing it like pranayama. Very impressed , as I said, on so many levels. The playing with the singing and the stroytelling and, and... skill, creativity, very keen intelligence to it all. Good show!! (as this American imagines a Brit might say).

Not just the stairway the whole song is using the sound waves in accordance to the amount of space in the clip so if the camera pulls away the sound gets quieter but has more reverb because the space has increased sound amplification as well so it's an awesome ballad and this man is genius level musician I tell you I've never seen such a talent.

So I think its for certain that it ends with another tragic death. And that Richard is gonna die seems certain as well. The question is what about screech's girlfriend and Patrick. They are probatly having an affair and dont seem to really care about screech. They will end up in a fight i whitch Patrick kills the gf and the Officer still fighting with regrets, Sees it, tries to Interfere and kills partick but to Late... then He either lives with the pain or kills himself. Like a good tragety everyone is dead or ruined in the same night and the bodies are now still only two streets apart. Ohh i got down a rabbit hole cuz of your music, ren, (proud part of the cult eh... bookclup) and i love it... ill be wrong with everything but it was a fun game to play ;] Edit: its gonna be Richards or Patricks tail, while i tend towards Patrick but i am not sure at all Edit two: idk if i have to put it here for the theorie to count...?
