There is an ancient rhyming patttern in Welsh language literature called cynghanedd. All Welsh schools teach it. Until now I'd thought its complex internal/external rhyming/vowel/consonant harmonies could not work in English. Yet, Ren (a Welsh speaking Welshman - "Cymro Cymraeg") has managed to utilise cynghanedd in his English art. Can't wait to hear the Welsh lyrics he's promised in his next album. If you think his schemes in English are great, I promise youll be blown away by cynghanedd in Welsh.

Hahaa, your facial expressions were so MY facial expressions on first hearing this. Straight to the top end of my favourite Ren tracks, this one. It's a problem though. I have too many top 5 Ren tracks in my top 5 Ren tracks list 😂😂😂

@HollyLouise19992 Yep. Doesn't matter what genre it is, I generally end up loving most of Ren's tracks. The few that I don't love, I still enjoy elements of. It's possible he may have encoded subliminal messaging into his songs to make everyone love them, of course. 😆

He always manages to surprise us! He was beatboxing on yesterday's Twitch stream too! If you have missed his singing, he did 10-15 mins acoustic Hold On, Hound Dog, and House of the Rising Sun at the end. The bb was in that bit too.

You need to react to "Dear God.", im not sure if they were wrote at the same time but it is Ren seeking answers for his life whereas this one feels like he rejected faith for not providing answers and instead turned his frustration, confusion and rage on the living. And as always, great reaction Anthony. Big respect brother

This is my favorite Ren song! This song is EPIC!! This song just hit me hard and I feel everything he's saying in this one. I said the same thing as you, this song spoke to my soul! I couldn't pick a favorite song before this one. I felt it depended on my mood in that moment which one I would say was my favorite. This song is the one! It is absolutely my favorite! 💜💜💜

Honestly it gives off a bit of a Hi Ren vibe (and even sabaton), it's such a good song man. It's my favorite one of the recent songs and the competition was wild! As for the song you mentioned, I think the killers made it

In his 1 million-subscriber thank you speech, (I may be paraphrasing slightly) Ren advised those “feeling hate against their fellow man”, to feel that hate/pain, express it, then let it go and find new peace. Seems like he is taking his own advice in Masochist and Lost All Faith. He wrote them during his darkest times, then took that pain, disillusion, desperation, depression and frustration and expressed it in songs about killing the whole world and losing his faith with everything. He created art. I’m in awe.🤯

Can visualise something like it being used for the next Bond movie or a major Netflix drama series (His hopefully!🍿). Man, you nailed it perfectly, kudos to you. In Hi Ren he says “I don’t write hooks for the radios” etc. but he broke even this wall with another astonishing masterpiece. You lost a ton of biblical references and twists but you understood the religious references, we know our guy is superhumaly multilayered and to me, as an Italian grown up in Vatican land, it’s easier to get it all. Non the less you are the first reactor who understood the potential and beauty of this song. My respect and a hug.

That part in the song that sounded like another song is very reminiscent of the music to the James Bond movies. If you are a fan, this will make perfect sense.

Making it sound like it is ever faster than it already is...
