What a great reaction. I agree. More more more will never take precedence over family and community. Samuel was the videographer. Ren had a professional pianist take over fir him, but he wrote the music,including the strings.

@@MatandChelsReact hey Matt and Chells 😊 been long time since I’ve been on the discord been really busy anyways when Ren was at the desk and the guy sitting down cutting the Coke in the chair was actually Knox Hill.. And even after probably a hundred plus reactions that I’ve watched of people with this music video. I still get excited I was munching with a bag of chips. This song will never get old it will outlive Metallica. Nothing else matters I know that sounds like a big stretch, but once Ren gets mainstream, across the globe, he will be like Eminem status one of these days he will be recognized just need the right people to push on the bigger networks mainstream networks hell even if someone hacked the system and played it on like 10 channels of mainstream he’d be out there😊

Ren played the first session on the piano and Charlie the hired Jazz pianist took over for him. The BTS videos showed Charlie hanging out with Ren and practicing piano at Ren's place (where he was staying). Ren practiced the piano along with the folks that played the strings and so much more. Great video to watch, the bts should win awards on it's own.

Ren is beyond our existence, unfortunately from someone also with mental health and psychosis. His words need to all be heard especially hi Ren. That song is how most of us feel. And I to thought I could take on evil but I failed and I know the pain of suffering and continuing to suffer, life is a dance. It just matters how you mold and make your life, you can choose to inspire and have faith and hope or you can quit, fail and become destruction. I choose to still help people with their problems even tho I have my own, but that's like hi Ren song, we are all human beings and we must not forget this

I highly suggest starting out wuth these two: I Shot the Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hip Hop [specifically], and War Pigs (Ozzy mashup)... Romaine's guitar solos add a magical beauty to Ren's vocals!! Money game 1. Ren (In that instance the establishment) protected from the rain by the poncho. The protection is eventually removed, the storm (public awareness) arrives, the system is exposed and "burns" (I think Revolution) . Money game 3 "Jimmy comes in out of the rain...." (His storm) without protection.... The "child", now a killer, pulls the trigger..... .

But, like most of Ren’s theatrical/Storytelling music it has a double entendre, which we have to make up our own minds too.. Is it 1. Jimmy has pulled the trigger ending his pain around money, it bought him riches but also brought about his downfall or 2. He hasn’t ended his life but pulled the trigger on the money game, as symbolised by just hearing the click of the gun rather than the actual inevitable gunshot. Ren’s ability to make you think during his music, is one of the most endearing traits of all his music. This is an absolute masterpiece, and deserves more than just views on KZread, it deserves recognition for the lyrical genius of Ren and the cinematographical (not sure if that’s a word, but hey ho) genius of Sam. It’s Oscar/Grammy/Emmy worthy, but will never been seen by most people as he isn’t “labelled” up which in itself is a godsend, because if he had been none of us here on KZread would have got to experience everything these young men do.

Once we allowed money to be more powerful than the truth, we lost our way. Rens ability to translate this into such a captivating story was amazing 🎉🎉

Transfixed, welling emotions, cold chills, immersive..that is ART!!! The message, love is larger than life and where can love fit into corporate greed and competition?

Loved the reaction! The strings always get me too. The story is Ren's creation. Ren won an award for best video and along with Sam best director. Ren is dropping again. 4 new tracks. 1st 2 are his take on artists songs. The 3rd a rap that is bar after bar, Nas Halftime Retake on a Nas beat. The last is an original piano piece. The story of that is in description. They are all so different and so good. They're new and fresh. Another different Ren. 😊😊😊

Great reaction. This actually got me to subscribe. Looking forward to more Ren. Both Ren and Sam have confirmed there is 1 cut in the video that was necessary to set the string players. When the camera is going behind the wheelchair you can catch it. Don't quote me on the exact numbers but Ren and Sam said in an interview I believe the first part is 15 takes to get it right and the second part was 17. But they only had 1 take with the water because of how long they booked the space to shoot the video and they didn't have clothes for Ren to wear after these got wet. If you watch the violinist stops playing after the water comes down. It's because her bow got hit by the water so she couldn't play and they couldn't re shoot it. Hopefully you guys react to back on 74/message in the bottle. If you do notice Ren us wearing the same clothes as this video. Sam and Ren shot both videos same day both live.

I desparately wanted the strings section to go longer. I was brought to tears there too; it was very impactful.

Ren's favorite video to date. Enjoy. It is also a 1-take staet to finish video until he stands to deliver his solution. That had the only cut due to they had only 1 single ability to do the rain scene ending.

They only had one suit so could only get it wet once, thus the one cut

I watched some videos on the making of MG3 and they did need to do one cut that is hidden when the camera goes behind the wheelchair. I don't recall why it was necessary (maybe to reset and clear out some of the smoke?), but that is the only cut.

You are correct. It was necessary because of the chance of the overhead water pump not functioning correctly and instead of having to start from the beginning, they could just just pick up from the wheelchair scene in case the water failed.

1) The water system (which *did* malfunction!) . 2) A wet floor would have required time to dry (like a day?) . 3) One suit. . 4) The mic needed to be removed before Ren took the jacket off (and for the water)

the strings toward the end really brought in a sadness to the end of the story.

I made the piano part that was mentioned my Ringtone. The only person named Jimmy who served in the Senate who was involved with Nuclear weapons was James F. Byrnes. Idk exactly what aspect of Nuclear weapons he was involved in.

Excellent Ren reaction as always.... However I went to check out your Ren play list and couldn't see it so no Idea what you have already viewed. Based on your other playlists I think you would really enjoy Ren's 'Crutch'. Its a short song about him when he is at his lowest and has yet to be diagnosed. It flips genres mid way through to something I thing would be right in your wheel house....

No catchy lyric here !! lol This was Ren biggest production yet. All previous performance videos him and Sam made for under 1000 pounds. And personally I think this is his outlook with how people are driven by monetary gain rather then the humanity gain. Kind of easy to see where resources are abused for profit at the expense of us all with very few profiting from it. Humanity will wipe something out sell it then throw it away in a few years. When it took thousands of years to get there, or more. Some just don't care.. I THINK REN CARES !! And this is how he sends his message out.. WE CAN DO BETTER ! It is Ren playing the piano at first (Edvard Grieg's famous piano concerto), you may recognise his rings and his hands even, once you are a long-time fan. And if that's not enough, just watch a BTS 🙂 As with guitar, Ren is self-taught on the piano. You see a piano enter his life in his Me vs. me vlog. Before starting to speak, he sings (oos) first Violet's theme (anouncing the theme of child abuse to follow), then the Money Game theme. This is a live one take until the camera passes behind the wheelchair, and from then on it is again a live one take. The cut was necessary to transfer the brooch with the mike from the jacket lapel into a waterproof container in his tie knot. You can spot it there, when you look at it closely. See how he twisted the idea of "sheeple" being liberal, inclusive, into sheeple actually being capitalistic / individualistic? .
